Absolutely love this bake shop!!! They did an amazing job on the cake for my husband’s retirement party. It was so pretty and tastes so good. Everyone loved it . We never get our cakes any where else but here . But they definitely went above and beyond with this order.

Yikes that's sounds AI generated if it didn't feel like the homey apple Annie's I grew up with before that sad corporate response didn't make me feel better. Not waisting my money here anymore.

UPDATE: I saw what I saw. Review your cameras on May 29th. Telling me I'm wrong to save your own butt doesn't earn my business back, it makes me want to tell my friends what you're doing. I'll let others take this interaction for what it is.
Though I love Apple Annie's, and would have given 5 stars if it were just my past experiences, I'm not sure when I'll be going back after my last experience.
They were very clearly training a new hire, which is so reasonable, however they were not training her at all, just telling her to do things which clearly doesn't work. Train your employees with a trainer. Leaving her to herself when she's clearly not getting it leaves an insanely bad taste in my mouth, and I can tell you from what I saw she was having a really awful time too.
On top of this I saw food safety violations like dropping the ice scoop for the coffees and then putting it back on the counter. If you'll do this kind of blatant food safety hazard in front of my face, what do you do to my food behind my back?
Also as other guests have complained about: no prices listed in person. If you guys can put together a website you guys and get the prices on there, you can for sure print out prices for your items in store.
I'd rather just go to a Harris Teeter at this point or something. Its getting a bit absurd.

When I walked into store today I was greeted politely by employee who wasn’t able to help me right away due to being busy ringing up someone else and being the only person working at counter while others cleaned in back. As a reasonable person it was no big deal and I took this time to browse the display. A man walked in behind the counter who was I assume the manager who looked at me and aggressively asked if I had been helped yet in a way that I felt I was the one who did something wrong. He then when on to be rude to the poor girl working the counter. Maybe if you had the prices listed instead of making the poor employees memorize them there wouldn’t be issues. The girl was nice and the baklava was good. Tho I’d suggest the managers learn how to treat people more kindly.

I have been going here for years and always had a good experience. I recently ordered a cake for my mother’s birthday. Fortunately, she is almost blind because it appears to have been decorated by a kindergarten child. I emailed the shop with no response. I will definitely not order cakes from there in the future.
Exceptionally nice staff, very clean establishment. I came later in the afternoon, and there wasn't as much selection, but that's my fault! They also had plenty of items on the day old rack at 50% off, which was great for grabbing some bread! Next time I'm coming through Wilmington, I will definitely make this bakery a stop!
