The food was excellent, especially the chicken, which was incredibly tasty. However, the service was lacking. The Hispanic waiter seemed disorganized—I had to ask for water three times, and he forgot each time. He also failed to place my order for ceviche.

New owner's really stepped up. They know what good food is and I highly recommend you stop by here if you're in the area!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go since I went to the beach and looked for a restaurant that offered me homemade food. I confess that I loved the food, good seasoning, good portions and excellent price, the service was very good and the girls who served me, even one who was starting yesterday because they were training her, treated us excellently, really if you go to Wilmington don't miss out the opportunity to go, you will not regret eating a good homemade meal

Love this place! Been 20+ times. They do the best chicken, hands down. Beats any other Peruvian chain. It's perfectly seasoned and cooked.

I recommend their soup - it is delicious and hearty. The prices are reasonable. Lunch specials are a fantastic value. For around $10 you get chicken and 3 sides. It's a lot of food, all fresh made and real food like rice and beans, soup, tostones, fried yucca sticks (theirs is really good) and the salsa verde here is the best! I've bought it just to eat with sides at home.

Very good food, but customer service must pay a lot of attention, lack of organization.
It takes them a while to get to the table for the drinks, the food, etc.
During the time we were there, several people left because they were never attended to.

I recently dined at a Aromas of Peru restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The food was delicious. The highlight was the tres leches cake, which was moist and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for authentic Peruvian cuisine.

Hands down the best! Our family stumbled upon the restaurant based on other positive Google reviews. As always, we were a little hesitant. We were so glad that we tried it! Everything was deliciously authentic! We had the chicken fried rice, steak fried rice, plantains, beef empanadas, fried strimp, fries and the De Pobre (Bistec a lo Pobre). W had enough for to go boxes which unfortunately left no room for dessert (LOL). The service was excellent! All is all we would highly recommend and can’t wait to return on our next beach trip!

The food was really really good amd this is coming from a Peruvian person. I am glad my wife and I were able to have lunch twice in a row. Thank you Aromas del Peru for the food, service and for putting some really good good out. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
