Brought lunch home for two. Sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, wonton soup and egg rolls. This was probably the best Chinese takeout we’ve had in wilmington for quite awhile. The SS chicken was nice chicken pieces and tasty, so many wontons in the soup we couldn’t eat them all. The rice was good, had peas onions and pork pieces…and I like yellow rice. Egg rolls were ok. Quantity and price was good. Egg roll and shrimp roll was pretty good. The shrimp fried rice had a decent number of tasteless shrimp. The rice was a yellow rice, not fried rice. The won ton soup was sorely lacking in salt - not much flavor. The food was hot and made quickly. It’s decent,, not great.
We used to love this place, but their quality and service has declined since the pandemic. Most recently I ordered takeout online for pickup at later time. When I arrived at the designated time to pick up my order, it took an additional 17 minutes for the order to be done. I also had to wait outside in a thunderstorm while they scrambled to get the order ready.
