Axes & Allies is such a fun place to hangout! There are board games and tabletop sitting as soon as you walk in so you can get a round before you start throwing. The staff are very informative and make sure you have a great time! The drink selection has something for everyone! Have come here with friends and also larger parties! Definitely a great date night spot, family time activity, or team building opportunity!

My coworkers and I went in for a private party and we all walked out saying how much fun we all had!! We spent two hours here throwing a variety of axes and some knives. If you have a private party, you’re able to use the additional axes and knives they have available to you for free. The place is set up really nicely with tons of seating and a beautiful outdoor patio as well. This is definitely something I would do again. Kim and Adam I believe were their names that helped our party the whole entire time and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They took their time with everyone to teach us how to throw , all while serving us drinks. It is beer and wine only, but they have a huge selection. I was very impressed. We brought in some snacks etc. and there was plenty of room for us to put our stuff down. Thank you guys!

My friend is an old hand at axe throwing but besides tossing some in my parents back yard I’d never thrown an axe. Our guide was a young guy with a lot of valuable information to share. He was passionate but not overwhelming and very helpful. We enjoyed the music, the bar was well stocked, and the ambiance was relaxed. I had a great time and hope to visit again the next time I’m in Wilmington.

I’ve been here twice now and Kim has been absolutely amazing each time. She is a great teacher and always gives helpful tips / corrections. She and Aaron created such a fun atmosphere and were so personable that it felt like I was celebrating my birthday with old friends. I also got the pleasure of meeting one of the owners my first time there and he told me the story behind the name Axes and Allies and showed me how they change out the boards and draw on the new targets. It was so nice to get to learn about all of the effort that goes into creating such an awesome facility! I highly recommend coming here, I was an inexperienced beginner and after two trips here I’m loving it so much and even hoping to join their league!

Parking: It is a fairly small parking lot with a Very steep entrance and exit. Our Subaru dragged pulling out, my truck did not.
