Hands down one of my favorite bars in Wilmington! This bar is the oldest bar in Wilmington and one of the first I came to back in the 90s. Great selection of beer and spirits! The staff is always fast and friendly! The restrooms were clean with plenty of products! If you want to play pool then this is the place for you! I would highly recommend Barbary Coast if you are in the area! You won't find a more down-to-earth or authentic bar in town!!
This place is a cool dive bar. Lots of decent beer with a pool table and shuffleboard to boot. Would definitely go back and would love to check it out on a busier night, we went on a Tuesday and were pretty much the only people in there.
This is one of two downtown bars that will always feel like home. You can’t beat the atmosphere, the history, or the little back deck overlooking the river. Many fun times have been had on that jukebox, and for anyone who appreciate movie history, this bar was featured as a filming location in David Lynch’s cult classic, Blue Velvet. This isn’t your normal drinking hole, it’s something far more special. This is it.
