Great atmosphere!

The Beat Street Burger is amazing. I've had a lot of smash burgers in Wilmington and this one is at the top for sure and the price point is fantastic. The only issue is that the alcove is where you sit and it's so hot!! However, there are lots of places to sit outside, love the communal aspect of the Cargo District. Beat Street is a great place for a friend meet up!

Best burger I’ve ever had in my life, I’ve ate a lot of burgers from a lot of different places and none come close. I’d visit NC again just to eat it. For a small place like that to have such a good burger is a crime, they need to be a whole cooperation food chain. This place will never leave my mind because everytime I eat a burger I’ll just say to myself, this doesn’t come close to best street burgers.

The food is good, but I've been three times, twice during the week, and once on the weekend, and the bathrooms are always out of something, or trash cans are overflowing. This time it was soap and we told them about it. An hour later, the soap was still gone, and the second restroom had run out, too. They didn't care and were kinda rude/dismissive about it. It's gross to serve food and not provide soap. I hope they had soap in the kitchen for employees...

I’m sad to say this place was a huge let down. The concept is cool, but they just missed the mark. I get the idea that they have put all their energy into looking cool. We were not greeted when we came in and were confused if we were to seat ourselves or not. The food was so incredibly bland. And not authentic. We ordered the spicy, chicken bacon ranch in a bowl and a birria torta. Both of which need a lot of work. The chicken was dry and unseasoned. Both of the dishes lacked depth of flavor. As chefs ourselves, I hope that this is not seen as hate but as a call to do better.

Disappointing.... paid $15 for a plain burger with mustard and pickles and it didnt come with fries, yet the picture on the delivery app showed a plate with a burger and fries... kinda misleading. For an additional $20, we got the white trash BBQ and halfway through eating, the bottom of the paper bowl they put it in, had essentially dissolved so my food ended up in my lap... No working phone number to call to ask about the missing fries, phone number on the delivery app isn't even a complete phone number. 😑

I must have some deep-seated self-loathing because I keep giving this place another chance. On a prior visit, the rice in the burrito was undercooked. A worker saw I was not eating my meal and asked if everything was all right. After telling her about the rice, she went to the kitchen and confirmed that the rice was beyond al dente. She asked if I wanted a refund - rather than refunding me automatically. On today’s visit, there was a hair on top of the vegan taco. Maybe human matter doesn’t count when classifying something as vegan. Moreover, the chips were stale, the salsa full of tomato skin, and my partner’s carnitas bland and dry. Beat Street once had wonderful empanadas and guacamole, but both have fallen off the menu. I hope Beat Street can pull itself together and live up to its claim of serving authentic street food because hanging out in the Cargo District is one of Wilmington’s hipster treats.

Best street has really stepped their food game up. We tried coming here couple years ago when they first opened and it wasn’t very good. And overpriced. Now it’s delicious. And priced right.

The quesadillas were huge and loaded with flavor. Same with the burgers.

They also have all the good local craft beers on tap. Can’t wait to go back

Not the best food tbh. Hopefully the drinks are a lot better prepared and taste.

Been wanting to come here for months, and I just feel a bit disappointed. Maybe the Philly burrito was just lacking something, but it was overall just kinda plain tasting. I feel like an acid, something like pickled red onions could have made it pop more. I’d like to give this place another go, I hope to find a better more well rounded item. That being said - get the nachos, that’s the dish I should’ve went with.

Yummy food served by the friendliest people (especially Paige--such a sweetheart!). I love that there's a little something for everyone, and there's ample indoor and outdoor seating. If I had to choose a favorite menu item, it would have to be their Big A** Burrito (be prepared to take home leftovers!). And as an added perk, you get a 15% off coupon on your receipt to hello, love, one of my favorite shops in Wilmington!

Food was okay, price was ridiculous, big ass burrito is in fact more like a Wisconsin casserole flavor, please stop even using the word burrito, staff were friendly and vibe was nice

Burrito ($17) wasn't removed from bill when ordering on 3/14/24. Burrito was brought out with other food - returned the burrito. Cashier said she would credit my charge. Never happened - my son has made the trip back 3 times to inquire about credit. Have called numerous times and left message. NO response - 12 days later
