Cool spot. You can grab a seat in the Alcove brewery area and order food next door and they bring it to you. I ordered a beer and got my food. Everything was amazing. Only issue is the service was minimal. I had to go back and ask for cutlery and wave to get my check for my one beer, while only 2 others at the bar. We all have off days in the service Industry though. Can't wait to revisit.

Beat Street is easily one of my favorites. Between the varied menu, good prices, delicious food and access to Blue Cup and Alcove, it’s hard to decide exactly what keeps me coming back. The smash burger and fries (order them crispy) and the Huevos Rancheros burrito and bowl…to die for. Plus Ella at the counter is delightful, knowledgeable and so sweet. You’ve got to try this spot! Great job Chef Bobby!!

The burger had way to much mayo BUT the pork and kimchi and brussell sprouts with ginger were amazing!.. The bartender was nice but had trouble understanding tequila, soda, and grapefruit twice for some reason. The beer i had was good though. Overall, there's always room for improvement and they could use more help so the staff is not overwhelmed BUT, really great place with great variety of food and cool design of the place. Apparently many of the restaurants and shops in the cargo district are designed out of shipping containers which was cool inside and outside. Open space, good lighting, good music and reasonably priced, but busy as good places often are!.. 4 out of 5 stars from me but I'm still annoyed by the burger and the drink.. oh well I will be back and give them another shot at perfection.. it's worth it.

I just wanted to send a shout out to your excellent customer service last night! My infant son was a bit overwhelmed at the crowd and loud megaphone so we needed to leave in a hurry. I wanted to send a huge thank you to the young man giving people their orders…he not only packed up my food for me, but stopped using the megaphone to call out orders until me and my son put our jackets on and headed out the door! Please let him know THANK YOU! His thoughtfulness really meant a lot to us! Oh yeah and the food was delicious too! ?
Sooooo good. Their tacos are awesome, super packed full of goodies, their burgers are also 10/10. The truffle fries are good but over priced for the little amount of fries with a little cheese sprinkled on top. Chips and the sampling of guac, salsas and queso were so yum… the queso was my favorite. This place is so good! My only knock is it’s over priced a bit.

Been here twice and the food is just okay. I got the "large crab ragoon" and it wasn't that big nor very tasty. I wish the alcove wasn't so loud where you have to sit and eat. Hope they can improve the food.

Went last night for the first time. Ordered the smash burger and it was so good!! My husband and I owned a burger restaurant here for 20 years and this is the best burger I have found since we closed! Great fries, as well!

Truthfully if you value your dollar and how employees are treated go anywhere else in town not affiliated with True Blue. I have frequented Beat Street since late April this year and have grown close to the employees, just to see them be mistreated by mismanagement and a lack of actual management. Employees berate one another, the owners eventually just remove employees from schedules all together, and yes, I have seen BOH staff touch your food with their bare hands. The food is decent but overpriced and you will rarely have the same meal taste the same two times in a row, they randomly invite artists to play and create an overwhelmingly loud environment, and they generally couldn’t care less about the copious amount of people they hire in abundance to serve guests. It is disappointing but not at all surprising to see this is how Beat Street’s owners have chosen to operate. Their entire FOH has been exhausted and mistreated for months, only made worse by a shift manager who was elected by owners with no guidance on how to lead properly.EDIT: If the owners and management would like to reach out to me directly they are free to do so. To claim my review is ingenuine over a text message to a past employee is laughable when I visited Beat Street almost weekly for almost half a year. This is not BECAUSE of frustrated past employees, this is because I am truthfully appalled with how this place has been ran as someone with FOH and server experience myself. How this place was managed also impacted livelihoods. My review is a reflection of that. To claim I am tearing people down out of spite goes to show how you accept or reject criticism.
