We just moved from Tucson and they craft some of the very best tacos. We live in Wilmington now and the last thing I wanted to try here were tacos. By chance, we landed at Block Taco. Hands down some of the very best street Mexican food I’ve had. I was so surprised, but very excited to find this place. The stand is attached to a hip bar with some one-of-a-kind shops nearby. You’ve got to add this spot to your short list!

Utterly Amazing. Fresh ingredients uniquely designed tacos presented in a street fare fashion with an atmosphere that one shouldn't miss. The orange, spicy sauce is one of the best hot sauce I've ever had. Great job here. Must try.
Ordered chicken nachos and 2 tacos....2 cans of soda....36.00...rediculous!!!! Would be different if they were good but the tacos were so dry I only ate one, the nachos looked like they came out of a chip bag. We ordered while nobody was there, a couple walked up 5 minutes after us and received their food way before us. Definitely not going back. 2 picnic tables to sit at outside in the cold. No thanks.

omg i do love block taco i live right across the street from it. whether you want one taco for $4 or 3 tacos for $12, they all taste delicious & have excellent vegan options? service was great and fast it's a walk up and order but there are chairs outside to sit kinda like barstools which is soooo nice on a beautiful day!

These are some of the best Tacos in Wilmington and really anywhere I have been in NC. For the size of the tacos they probably are just a bit pricey for the size of the taco because I can probably eat $20 worth of Tacos(4)?. Outside of that the chicken, Asada and Carnitas are all excellent. I have been here several times and will keep going back. I do wish they offered diet soda. Only “non sugar” carbonated drink they have had when I have eaten there was flavored sparking water. The Nachos are a good price for what you get. They are the best Nachos I have tried so far in Wilmington. On Tuesdays you can get two tacos, chips and salsa for $10. Full menu is in my pics. On your left when facing the ordering counter there is a help yourself bar with sauces, cilantro, jalapeños etc… There are some seats just to the right of the ordering counter and to the left of the ordering counter down beside the building there are some larger nice tables. The atmosphere is always very nice with lots of people coming and going from the near by shops and restaurants. It is a really cool spot so if you are visiting or live in the area the is a must try.Parking: The parking on the street in the front can be hard to find when busy. There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant that also has handicap spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: This is wheelchair friendly. You will have plenty of space.

Favorite taco place. Love everything on the menu. Only down side is long lines during heavy traffic times but worth the wait - and you can wait at satellite bar which is a sweet spot too. Usually super friendly workers too.

My wife and I love this place! It's literally an order window connected to Satellite Bar and Lounge in Wilmington. The ingredients are super fresh, extremely tasty, and the nachos, especially with chicken, are outstanding. The atmosphere, service, and location make this place. Awesome. My favorite part is there is a toppings bar right next to the order window so that you can add, some accoutrements or hot sauce to your order. Again, I love this place.
$7.50 for an itty bitty Tuna taco., really!? Taste was average. Portion way to small for the price. Green sauce splashed on side of paper tray, it all missed the taco.
