The food was great, but took a little long, considering the place was empty. I didn’t think sweat pants and slippers were appropriate attire for the waitress.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was very bland, and the biscuit was so soggy it completely fell apart. The chicken itself had a gummy texture, which made it hard to enjoy.

My husband ordered the Caesar salad, and it honestly looked more like shredded iceberg lettuce than a traditional Caesar, which was another letdown.

We were really hoping for more, but overall the food didn’t meet expectations. Sadly, this one missed the mark for us.

Manager claims they were in a rush on a Saturday when I asked about Google reviews.. its 1120 am and they're not even open. I was just trying to help.

My wifs food was so salty she was unable to eat it. And on top of that our server disappeared after serving our food for about 30 mins so by then the rest of the table had finished their food so she didn't even try to reorder. Rest of table was not impress with their food either. They did remove the salty did from our bill but still....

Decided to go have lunch at Board and Barrel for their Thanksgiving Day buffet. Reservations were required. We arrived and were seated. The hostess or waitress came out and advised us that the buffet had been canceled. No call or notification from the restaurant. We tried to call and get in at another restaurant but were unsuccessful of course (Thanksgiving Day). They said we could order from the menu which we did and it was pathetic and took forever to get anything. They obviously decided to cancel the buffet because of lack of interest. Needless to say we were not happy. Not the way you do business!! Dine there at your on risk. Good Luck! Where is the -10 button??

I gave this restaurant a call asking if The public could dine in due to it being inside the hotel. She said of course we could. l let her know that we were coming from the federal courthouse to do breakfast because we was tired of same old breakfast spot adjacent to them. To make a long story short the staff was very nice. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will be back

Went for breakfast and the food was very good. I had coffee, oatmeal, and avocado toast. Service was quick and the perfect environment for me to eat and work from my laptop. Pricing was not that bad either.

The location of the restaurant was convenient being located inside the Balast hotel. The service was good the restaurant was almost empty during my visit. The menu options were limited. The presentation of the food was good but it looked better than it tasted.

We probably went on the wrong day and at the wrong time. It is not wise to pay for a buffet when the buffet is closing. I wasn't aware they provided made-to-order omelets, so I got scrambled eggs and an omelet. Presentation was good, but some food, like the cinnamon rolls we hard. We plan to visit when we can order from the menu.

Worst bartender ever! Rude, very unwelcoming & doesn't care if you've been waiting for your drink for 30 minutes! She simply tells you she's busy. She keeps ignoring us while she mingles with
the big group who's attending a wedding.

I had some drinks and aps here with some friends recently and it was great. The apps were creative and tasty and the drinks were well made. Worth the trip even if you're not staying at the hotel.

We went for drinks and dinner on a sat. And then breakfast on sun morning.

Drinks and service were great on sat night. The food was just ok which is why the 4 stars

Sun morning breakfast was busy, and it took 20+ min to get 2 eggs and some bacon. The staff was friendly but obviously busy and struggled to keep up. Food was also just ok for breakfast.

Over all nice people, and comfortable environment.

Good food but unacceptably long wait, on the pricey side
