Everything was exceptional! Oysters were great, nutty goat salad very tasty and huge! Filet was perfectly prepared. My server Ayana was terrific!

Worst bartender ever! Rude, very unwelcoming & doesn't care if you've been waiting for your drink for 30 minutes! She simply tells you she's busy. She keeps ignoring us while she mingles with
the big group who's attending a wedding.

I had some drinks and aps here with some friends recently and it was great. The apps were creative and tasty and the drinks were well made. Worth the trip even if you're not staying at the hotel.

We went for drinks and dinner on a sat. And then breakfast on sun morning.

Drinks and service were great on sat night. The food was just ok which is why the 4 stars

Sun morning breakfast was busy, and it took 20+ min to get 2 eggs and some bacon. The staff was friendly but obviously busy and struggled to keep up. Food was also just ok for breakfast.

Over all nice people, and comfortable environment.

Good food but unacceptably long wait, on the pricey side

Nothing was great everything was ok. Definitely would have liked hot food. We looked at the buffet but it was the size of a walk-in closet everyone chose not to use buffet. Not worth the try!

This place is located in Hotel Ballast. It has a restaurant as well as a bar. After the restaurant is closed, guests enjoy some beverages to wind down.

I ordered a clam chowder which was fairly bad. It was watery and didn't have much flavor. But the experience was saved by the oscar mahi mahi. The sauce, the fish, and everything else on the plate just filled my mouth with happiness.

The waitress was attentive, but not overbearing.

Incredibly busy for a quite hotel, everytime I passed by this place when entering the hotel from the riverwalk, so I was curious why. First I tried one of my favorite drinks while my sons where at the pool. A cordial spritz (I believe they called Bless my Heart) and it was very nice. Then we had breakfast the day after, french toast, avocado toast and buffet. All thing delicious but what made our morning was the service. Destiny (forgive me if I got your name wrong!) was a an amazing host and waitress!

The service was great. But I think they may have the worst calamari I have ever tasted. I realized another guy ordered the calamari and barely ate any too late. The chicken wings were good. But overall, I think a few tweaks to the menu would make it better.

Overall, I’m giving them 5 stars because of the friendliness of one of the bartenders, Elizabeth. She was very helpful and one point, recommending a drink when they didn’t carry my favorite wine.As for eating there, we had the breakfast buffet, which was as expected for a hotel. The food was tasty and plentiful. The servers were polite.

Tale of 2 visits. First was bar at night and great job all around. Second was restaurant in am. Slow service and marginal food.
