Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard

Great music venue!!!

I have been there several times for local bands and to get a great cheeseburger. Staff has always been good but This past Saturday I had a personal issue and Alex was super nice and accommodating. Really went out of his way to help me out. Some places just seem nice until there is a problem but others, like Alex and Bowstring shine in those circumstances. I am a fan for life!

Nice, but giant lines! And too many political messages about war weirdly enough….

Ordered food and two drinks, went to pay and our bill had a double shot of vodka and mixed drink that we did not order or receive. Manager was very rude but finally gave our money back. I will never go back.

We went to Bowstring to see a band. Seems like a cool place and I love that they have parking available and the outdoor space. However, the service and food were disappointing. I ordered 3 items and was told they would text me when my order was ready. They didn’t. After 30 minutes on a not so busy night, I went to ask about it. We found it sitting on a counter, waiting. The food was cold. Quesadilla was soggy and not very flavorful. Tots would probably have been good, had they not been cold and hard. Wings were okay, just cold. Equally disappointing, if not more, was the quality of sound! You couldn’t hear anything the lead singer was singing due to being drowned out by the bass and electric guitars!! The way the speakers and tables are positioned, you don’t get balanced sound, you just get blown away. I’d go again to have beers with friends, but I probably won’t return and pay money to see a band or eat.

Great bar and live music. The tribute bands they have are great as well.

2 stars because some of the cover. bands they book are a joke and ticket prices for cover bands usuall yare $25 and up. Venue is terrible sounding and they charge like it's a major concert venue. I believe in supporting local music but not at those prices for a cover band. I guess. The fans of that band don't mind wasting money. Just charge a $5 admission and more people will come in and buy food and beer. When they have bands I avoid this place but it's usually empty. I just believe if your a cover band you shouldn't overcharge for someone else's music. Please bring more original bands at more reasonable prices. $25 for red hot shillie pepper cover band that's terrible

well this place Sucks… they charge you to listen to the band..no place to sit… over crowded and bartenders are very slow…this place dirty… Don’t waste your money on this place…, lots great places to listen to music for free and great food and atmosphere

I am totally disappointed that they agreed to host the United Way event today and then turned people away who had purchased tickets. They should Never agreed to help out due to inclement weather if they could not accommodate the crowd! . I in no way blame The United Way. I have been to many concerts at Greenfield Lake in the rain and had a great time….bad decision to move this event but I do fault Bowstrings for taking on more than they could handle.

First time there and had a wonderful all around experience! Arrived super early, but the lady/hostess was very nice and helpful!
