Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard

I swore I took some photos. Next time we pop in I will add some.
We had the burger special after leaving the airport, with truffle fries.
Our service was fantastic and great for a chat.
The only downside was the band setting up for the night. *We were going to miss it*😔
Better luck next time.

Very consistent the several times I have been in here. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Bartenders are very attentive and burgers are very good.

DO NOT COME HERE. Walked in here around 6:50 on a Wednesday saw that it was packed for an event and to enter through the back entrance. Cool no problem. Went in through the back entrance and was greeted by a bartender who seemed nice. I then asked a simple question “hey I don’t have a ticket but I was trying to see if you had tables open.” Yes or no question. I was then responded to by a dark haired bartender 30-40 years old with the following: “oh it’s $20 per person to come in here” as if I couldn’t afford it, followed by “it’s a guns and roses cover band, do you even know who they are? Do you even listen to that kind of music?” For context, I’m black. As soon as I heard those things I called the bartender out on being rude. She made it seem like my business and service was not wanted there. I was fully ready to pay the cover and tip as well. These aren’t things ton say to a customer. She then tried to save herself by saying it was my young age that made her say these things, but I highly doubt it. I know this place was designed for rich northerners moving here, but you shouldn’t make anyone not feel welcome. I instead took my business elsewhere. Please do better.

I love this place so much! The food is amazing and the venue itself is great. Great selection of local beers! Love the bands they bring in! I’ve been at least 10x since they opened.

I love the small gaming section too for when we bring the kids.

I have been coming here for a long time for trivia nights, the food use to be amazing. However you have removed the most popular items off the menu, and you no longer serve tots. Which is wild in my opinion. The last few visits have made me want to branch out to other places and eat elsewhere before even coming in for trivia. 9 months ago you would have been getting a 5 star rating, but things have really went downhill.

I’ve had my food sit and get cold at the counter when one of the bar staff said they’d bring it out, and you’ve stopped taking phone numbers to let you know when food is ready.

Not sure what is going on, but I have been pretty disappointed in the food and service for a while now, and the constant changes with the food menu.

I have been there several times for local bands and to get a great cheeseburger. Staff has always been good but This past Saturday I had a personal issue and Alex was super nice and accommodating. Really went out of his way to help me out. Some places just seem nice until there is a problem but others, like Alex and Bowstring shine in those circumstances. I am a fan for life!

Nice, but giant lines! And too many political messages about war weirdly enough….

Ordered food and two drinks, went to pay and our bill had a double shot of vodka and mixed drink that we did not order or receive. Manager was very rude but finally gave our money back. I will never go back.

We went to Bowstring to see a band. Seems like a cool place and I love that they have parking available and the outdoor space. However, the service and food were disappointing. I ordered 3 items and was told they would text me when my order was ready. They didn’t. After 30 minutes on a not so busy night, I went to ask about it. We found it sitting on a counter, waiting. The food was cold. Quesadilla was soggy and not very flavorful. Tots would probably have been good, had they not been cold and hard. Wings were okay, just cold. Equally disappointing, if not more, was the quality of sound! You couldn’t hear anything the lead singer was singing due to being drowned out by the bass and electric guitars!! The way the speakers and tables are positioned, you don’t get balanced sound, you just get blown away. I’d go again to have beers with friends, but I probably won’t return and pay money to see a band or eat.
