This is a great little restaurant. Parking is absolutely top-notch and the ambience is great. Our server was extremely attentative and was always around at the right time, something that I really valued and still remember. The bar staff also seemed to be right on top of it as the aperitif (French 75) literally came with zero-wait. Food is good but the portions are unnecessarily big and the server underplayed the size of the dishes. When asked how big they are, he said they're "not that big" and we got the impression they're "bite sized". Fortunately, when he took our appetizer order he mistakenly assumed my party and I would share it - which turned out great because the appetizer was BIG and more than enough for the two of us to share. The main course I had (Filiet) was big and when ordering dessert (crème brûlée) I asked the waiter how big it is and he said "it's not that big" and formed a circle with his two thumbs and fingers. After the big main dish I was not that hungry for desert, so we decided to share a single one. In the end turns out it came in *twice* the size the waiter showed with his finger, and more than enough for both of us :) So, all-in-all a great restaurant and I can highly recommend it.!

This was our first time at BB- We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, even wrote that on our reservation. Food was average at best and wait staff made no mention of our special occasion. Disappointed.

Best place we ate in Wilmington! Outstanding service...attentive and charismatic. Great venigarette on house salad, house bread was warm and delicious, drumfish was cooked well while asparagus had a delightful smoky flavor. Scallops were perfect accompanied by an outstanding sauce...rich and flavorful.
First old fashioned had too many muddled cherries but the second one was perfect! wife really enjoyed the wine our server provided (dark hair, man bun). Peppery and better than most in the area.

My first time dining here was earlier tonight with my husband. We both got the same seared scallops special which was really tasty. We started out with a crab dip that I will most definitely be returning for. 😋 We also tried their fried avocados, 🥑 which isn't something I typically would pick but they were surprisingly good. We ate so much, didn't have room for any desert. But the blueberry cobbler sounded yummy. Definitely a great spot for a date or just a super nice dinner experience. Very cozy feel.

Our first visit, but it won't be our last. Food was fantastic and the service attentive and friendly.
Quite simply - the best restaurant on the planet. Fantastic food and our server Brooke was excellent. Everyone on the staff, including assistant manager Sean who stopped by, was gracious and professional. And the food is unparalleled - you MUST order the blue corn crusted fried avocado. I had the grouper and my wife the vodka shrimp pasta dish... and we took home most of the peanut butter cheesecake ... amazing meal.

Love this restaurant!! Every time I go to Wrightsville Beach have to make a reservation here - our favorite waiter- Wayne! Very personable and attentive - and the food is always fabulous - they change the menu each week so their is something different to try each time - one of our favorites is the Blue Corn Crusted Avocado Appetizer and finish with a Key Lime Pie! Could not recommend a better place! Thanks for making our visits to your restaurant always so enjoyable!

First time there, I was pleasantly surprised. Small quaint Bistro, a bit loud if it's crowded, but you can tune them out if you really want to. Food is exceptional, cooked to perfection and visually beautiful. Prices are on the higher side, but id rather pay for a great meal... I'll be back..!!

Another wonderful experience at Brent's Bistro. Upon arriving, we were quickly seated (always good to make a reservation here ahead of time). Our service was excellent as always. We started with the crab dip that was “ ahhmazing.” For entrees we had grouper and fried chicken. Grouper was super delicious, and the fried chicken is a new favorite of ours!! Too full for dessert this visit but the peanut butter cheesecake is a favorite!
