So delicious and adorable! One of my new favorite spots. Got the appetizer platter and was blown away but the Cha Gio stole the show!

The best spot in NC!
Absolutely huge portions with amazing flavors. They don’t skimp on anything—even the garnish, whether it’s a fresh orange slice or pineapple, is generous and thoughtful. Everything is made with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite.

We were disappointed because we heard such great things about this restaurant but the service left a very sour taste in our mouth. My husband and I ordered takeout, two entrees and the sampler appetizer. We ordered way ahead of time for a 5:30 pickup. Our food wasn’t ready until 5:45 (restaurant wasn’t busy), they did not apologize for the delay. Then went out to the car and noticed an entree was missing so we went back in to let the staff know. The hostess was then very rude and looked annoyed by this. She went to the back and grabbed the missing entree and shoved it in the bag and walked away and didn’t say anything to us. Did not apologize at all for the food being 15 minutes late or missing a $24 entree. The food itself was good and we enjoyed the drunken noodles but we would be hesitant to get food from there again based off the poor service alone.

Walked I. For lunch with plenty of open tables. They said they were busy and we would have to wait 15 minutes. I had to get to work so we left. They didn’t even try to accommodate or apologize.

Most delicious Pho I’ve had here in Wilmington! The service was also amazing & so was the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely will be coming back for more ❤️

A standout place with unique fun decor, delicious food and cocktails, and attentive staff. It says “Thai” but food options seem broader than that. Save room for the mango sticky rice and coconut cake! Can’t wait to come back!

Wait what… an exceptionally flavored dish, but completely vegan and a surprisingly unique noodle dish…. Yes, it’s a MUST TRY if you visit Wilmington, NC…. Nope, I didn’t order it on my first visit, I stayed safe with my vegan choices, ordering the mixed vegetable which was delicious slightly spicy as expected if you’d like to stay in their traditional vegetarian lane . I was raving to friends and they insisted I go back before writing a review…. To try…SLAM!!! Korean Japchae….. sweet potato noodles, tofu, green onions, snow, peas, bok choy, wood ear shiitake mushroom, soy sauce, vegan, and a sesame oil…. That doesn’t describe it. You’re gonna have to come check it out for yourself, once you do, you’ll be ordering it to go and telling your friends about it too. I’ve traveled all over but I’ll be visiting Cafe Chinois over and over I’m certain. If you’re curious about the bar menu, I highly recommend the white Lotus Vesper. Nothing like a little lychee purée mixed with your Kettle One, oddly, I expected it to be tremendously sweet, but it was not. It was just enough and the Tangueray Gin made for an Artsy finish.

I ordered chicken Pad Kee Mao for take out last night and I was disappointed. I think my dish was reheated or pre-prepared. The noodles were gummy, stuck together, and chewy. The chicken was tough. The tomatoes were complete mush. Just not a fresh stir fry. Pad Kee Mao is my favorite thai dish and this one didn't meet expectations especially for the price point. On the plus side flavor was ok and the portion was very generous. I would give them another chance by dining in and seeing if the experience is better.

This place is AMAZING. We’ve eaten at Thai places all over the US (we live in a van) and this is in my top 5 for sure. We got the Cha Gio (egg rolls) as an app. It came w Thai basil and some lettuce to wrap it in. Crispy, amazing, flavorful and the sauce was delectable. My mom got a salad that had very well seasoned ground chicken that also came w lettuce to wrap it in. The drunken noodles were good and great portion for a lunch special, but not the very best I’ve had. But the curry was SHINING OUT!! So thick, very large pot of it, absolutely stacked w veggies and protein! I always love when I can take a portion of it home!! For dessert we did the Mango sticky rice and the chocolate mousse cake. The chocolate was much more decadent and rich than we were expecting, exceeded expectations for sure. Our server Tony was very attentive and knowledgeable not just about the menu but also about the art we were surrounded by! Highly recommend this place, I wish I lived around here so I could have it more!!

Food, service, and atmosphere were great! Pike, our server, was very friendly and was able to answer any question we had. Food was tasty, the portions were big, and they have a good amount of options for vegetarians. The Thai iced tea was excellent! We will definitely be back :)

It’s so beautiful here, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so nice (great music); however, our waiter, Hailey is the main reason I wanted to leave a review. I hadn’t even tried the food yet and was already planning to leave a review because of Hailey. All of her food suggestions were spot on and I’m so grateful. She is very knowledgeable about their beautiful menu and was so warm and helpful. Her service made the food that much better. We got the Massaman Curry & the Viet Bun Tau Xao Rau. 5 stars to it all. And it seems like you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Thank you, Hailey! We will be regulars here because of you!
I like the decor and cool atmosphere! Great food and I had good service. Hailey is fantastic!
Love everything about this place
The Panang curry was creamy and spicy. Thai fried rice was equally delicious, with the perfect balance of spices and thai tea was one of the best with full of flavor( but quantity is less).
Papaya salad is also good.
Overall, the food was excellent, and I would highly recommend this place for anyone craving Thai cuisine.
Cute place, great food and servers. They offer gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, beef, chicken and sea food options.
