Stopped by for coffee flights for my best friend’s birthday and the staff was beyond friendly! Helped us pick out drinks they thought would fit our taste pallet and wrote a cute birthday message on the cups! Will be back!

This is our second visit to Maroon Monkey Coffee and it has become my new favorite local coffee shop. Coffee is delicious, coffee cake & muffins are fantastic, and Emily is so friendly and helpful!! Definitely recommend stopping by here while downtown.

Such a cool vibe, very earthy and peaceful. The staff was friendly. The coffe was delicious. Also got a tea cooler there, very refreshing. They even had little table games out for those waiting or just hanging out. Overall a great stop while shopping.

Every time I come to Wilmington I always make sure to stop here. The specialty Lattes are amazing and the atmosphere is great! I highly recommend the French Toast Latte and the Bananas Foster.

I love the maroon monkey!! They have some sugar free syrups for us diabetics. Love the egg chairs and the cute brick wall. Nice aesthetics.
Atmosphere matches the price and value of their artisanal drinks unlike one or two other overpriced coffee-shop-jokes in Wilmington! 😜

I’m a big coffee lover but I can’t even lie this place wasn’t the best. I got an iced late and it just tasted like sweet milk and there was no taste of coffee at all. Yeah it’s cute inside and the service was good but they definitely need to work on how strong the coffee is in certain drinks. Wilmington has a lot of competition with coffee shops and there are many more that are way above this. I don’t discourage people to go here that’s not what I’m getting at but this should be taken as constructive criticism. It has potential but needs to be worked on.

Best lattes and coffee in NC!! I drive a long way just to get their delicious lattes (and now bring their espresso beans home to enjoy as well). Be sure to try the Fall Festival coffee!!
