They no longer have bone in chicken. Just strips and chicken wings. (Mine came with feathers.) They advertise crinkle cut yet I received regular fries. At$15.00 for 5 wings I can find somewhere else.

Well, Umm ? I don't remember the date... Victor asked me to take him to food lion & I told him I couldn't I was exhausted....& He kept bugging me...so he offered to pay for gas at shell station & I asked him to drive my 2007 Trail Blazer, & he said, No... well guess what happened after Food Lion....I had a car accident & he doesn't feel any kind of Responsibility...The Accident happened at 17th Street & Market. No 1 was hurt....& When we pulled off on the side of the road.... Victor called someone at Chicken in the box....& A Female came & picked him up at the were the accident happened....She was driving a Burgundy Cargo van....I've got my Truck Repaired & I cost me over $300.00 plus Time off my job, Etc...& The other cars were damaged as well....Oh about the food? Idk, I know a wonder woman Named Tracey that used to work there, until she moved & graduation & is Now a Dr..In Mississippi...Well maybe ? I'll try the food 1 day. & I went to the store for the owner Kevin Corbett. That's what Victor told me....His Boss. That day.

I would not consider myself a fried chick connoisseur, but this chicken was pretty good. Hot, juicy and crispy. I ordered chicken and waffles. I wished my waffles would have been crispier but it was good. Would definitely come again to try new things on the menu. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy though. I sat outside which I felt totally safe but I literally saw 5 cops drive by while eating outdoors. Not sure if there is a police station out there or why the need to cops?

This place has decent food at very high prices. I came and got a shrimp platter which only came with 10 shrimp. ? It's a very small space sitting area consists of two chairs. And then the cook came around smelling like he was living on the street. Everyone in the small sitting room noticed. Would've left if I didn't already pay, while hoping for the best. Couldn't really enjoy the little bit of food I did get, from remembering the smell of the cook. Will never go back. Waste of money.

Would give it zero!!Horrible food, terrible service. The workers are rude and totally self absorbed. The owner Keith is even worse. Couldn't be bothered to answer a question and just ignored me. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect!!!Save your money but more importantly your dignity!!!

Went here for the first time yesterday and it was the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while. I’d vote this best fried chicken in Wilmington. I plan on going back and trying other things on the menu here soon
I am giving two stars today because I went inside grabbed a menu looked it over placed my order over the phone was given a total of too much I said it says 8.99 for a two piece dark with two sides after arguing me down she admitted there was a misprint so I asked if she would honor the price on the menu she said NO with no hesitation now right there is where you broke the rules she was supposed to honor that price and then go back and scratch off each and every menu putting correct price.I would of respected that food is good but I wasn’t able to eat there that day. And the lesson is never let anyone print a menu for your business without proofing it first.

I wanted a cheeseburger and remembered Chicken in the Box had them. I've had the fried chicken so I knew the burger would be good. Came with fries. Above and beyond expectations. A whole lot of good eating for the money. Definitely worth giving them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous, piping HOT! and fast. Such good food with the most gracious owners and staff. Flakey fish, buttery smooth okra, crisp fry. Just so good. Get the loaded box for sure.

Flew in from Boston and went straight to Chicken in the Box! The fried okra and chicken hit the spot. Will definitely hit this place again on Sunday on the way out.

My experience here was amazing I have been seeing this place and thinking about going there for a while I finally went for lunch one day the food was amazing it didn't take long to prepare staff were very friendly and kind. I was actually going to get my food and go back to work but the weather was amazing and they had tables outside so I enjoyed it there! I would definitely recommend this place and visit again! Thank you so much for the great service Kid-friendliness: The staff here were so kind I didn't even realize that I was talking to the lady who cooked the macaroni I was telling her how amazing it was
