I am typically not the type of person to leave a review but after my dining experience I feel compelled. My boyfriend and I just ate dinner here for the first time and we will 100% be back. Food portions were ginormous, attentive waitstaff, perfectly timed courses, and an at home atmosphere. Definitely quiet for a Wednesday evening but chalking that up to them being newer as it doesn’t deserve to be… will be telling everyone I know about this place. Thank you Ciana crew for a great experience!!!

My friend and I received a welcoming greeting when we decided to have lunch here today. There were a lot of tempting choices on the lunch menu and I went with a salad and Margarita flatbread with mushrooms. The salad was so fresh and the home-made dressing delicious. The flatbread tasted like home - and sure enough their breads are shipped from New Jersey! Quality, quantity and great service. Wilmington deserves a great Italian restaurant! Enjoy!!!

The moment you step into the restaurant, you're welcomed by the wait staff with such warmth, it's like walking into a party where you're the guest of honor—even if they're juggling plates like circus performers. It's like a friendliness competition in there, and honestly, I'm here for it. We didn't just bond with our waitress; it was a whole team affair. Our waitress? Absolute delight. Now, let's talk about the food because, oh my, it deserves its own spotlight. I'm kicking myself for not capturing our appetizer, the crispy Brussels sprouts. Picture this: they're showered in this tangy balsamic vinegar and decked out in shredded cheese like they're going to the cheese prom. Then, we dived into a Caesar salad that was so authentic, I swear the anchovies winked at me, and the pecans? A surprise twist like finding out your grandma used to be a disco queen. For my main, I went with the Frutti De Mare Diavolo. Let me tell you, it was a fiesta in my mouth—shrimp, clams, mussels, fish, and scallops all dancing in a spicy sauce over penne pasta. My boyfriend tackled the lasagna and pronounced it a masterpiece. And dessert? Oh, the Tiramisu. It's the only thing that managed to distract me enough to forget about photographing the rest of our meal. That's right, the food was so good, I forgot to make it Instagram official. This Tiramisu wasn’t just made in the restaurant; it was crafted in the heavens. So yes, I wholeheartedly recommend this culinary wonderland, and you bet I'll be back. Again and again. Probably so much that they'll consider giving me my own table—or at least a plaque on a chair.

Wilmington now has a fantastic Italian restaurant!March 19, is the first time my wife and I tried this restaurant, and we will definitely be returning.Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. Our wonderful server, Ashley is so upbeat friendly and knowledgeable that she explained the various delicious offerings of the very unique and vast menu.I opted for a Ceasars salad with my meal, and it was honestly the best Ceasars salad I have ever had, incredibly fresh lettuce and very unique and tasty dressing. I had a wonderful dish with fresh shrimp, mushrooms, onions, and angel hair pasta, and it was amazing. My wife said that her veal parmesean was out of this world. The fresh bread is also on point! There was no way that we could eat the whole meal, so that means that we have another meal. The prices for what you get and the service is very good. We look forward to returning to try some more items from this very creative and delicious menu.Kid-friendliness: We saw several very well behaved young children enjoying their meal with their parentsWheelchair accessibility: All one level easy access for wheelchairs

Wow, wow, wow!! This was an all around amazing meal. We came in on a Friday at about 5:30pm. The hostess was very friendly and got us a high chair and let us pick our table. It's a good sized restaurant with Italian themed decor and a large bar area. It was casual and inviting. Our waitress was so nice and sweet talking to my baby boy. She knew to ask for his order first. Kids have 5 free meal options and 5 meals under $7. We also ordered their brussel sprouts appetizer from the feature menu right away. They were so crispy and I liked the balsamic glaze. While we looked over the menu she brought us the best rolls with herb butter! So good! We ordered the stuff eggplant, the Gorgonzola chicken with whipped potatoes and the angel hair pasta with Sunday sauce. All the entrees come with a salad. Their dressing is made in-house and they were very good. Our meals came out hot, flavorful and fresh! My son's meal was huge and perfectly cooked. The chef came out and also said hi to my son and joking asked if he liked the chicken. He smiled. We had so much food that we had leftovers for another meal. We just didn't have room for desserts but they sound delicious. I definitely plan to come back and try more of their menu.

Their salad was surprisingly good, and Calamari was pretty good as well. I really liked the sauces, but I was a bit disappointed with the meat portions. My veal cutlet was not even 2 ounces of meat and paying $25 for that I do feel a little bit cheated how much pasta there was compared to the meat, though the entrees do come with a salad at least. Stuffed eggplant looked pretty good and the chicken was not bad. Tiramisu was pretty good, but the cannoli was not even fully stuffed, and paying $6.50 for two, I would at least expect the cannoli to be stuffed properly. Waitstaff was quick and attentive, our waitress was Ava/Eva (I can't remember) and she was very attentive even with how busy she looked.

What a delightful dinner we had at Cianas. It's conveniently located next to image monster near Target. We went on a Sunday afternoon, they open at 4 for dinner. The parking was easy, they hostess and all of the stuff were incredibly friendly and nice and did their jobs very well. Well. The ambiance was good, but I went there to try their Italian food. I've had my fair share of Italian food. I decided that I wanted to stay kind of standard on this day, not go in for anything wacky. And the first thing I wanted to try were there meatballs. So we tried some meatballs as the appetizer and they were great, the sauce had a sweetness to it and it was very pleasurable. Pleasurable. Could have just eaten the meatballs for dinner. But since we were sharing we ordered the main dish. I decided to go for cheese tortellini in an alla vodka sauce, a standard that I love and it did not disappoint! My friend ordered a seafood pasta dish that was beautifully presented and she really enjoyed it as well. We both to come boxes full for the next day. But that's because we were saving room for dessert. They have an extensive dessert menu with lots of wonderful choices on it, but the description of the strawberry shortcake cake definitely spoke to me. And they get them from bakeries up in New Jersey. They were incredible. This dish was very special and you should give it a try. Check out my photos and you will see how delicious this looks. It is not your standard strawberry shortcake. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant and giving them your business, they did also seem to have a good takeout business as well. Happy eating.

Excellent all around, 100 food grade rating, the food was amazing, the service was impeccable and loved The Rat Pack's music playing in the back ground set the perfect tone to the atmosphere. Everything was wonderful from the Sidecar cocktail, fried raviolis, ceaser salad, lasagna all the way to the cream brulee cheesecake. We will definitely be back. ???

I wish I could give this place 0 star. The food was absolutely terrible. I believe chef boyardee has them beat. Reply: Since I can't reply I'll add to my review the details you want. First off the bread was pretty good but the good part ended there. I ordered a Woodford on the rocks with a splash of coke. Instead I got a glass with a shot of Woodford filled to the top with coke. It happens so I overlooked it. Then the food comes out. My son ordered gnocchi in pesto sauce I believe and what he got was some doughy lumps in an olive oil soup with some basil on top. My wife ordered stuffed eggplant and got a dish full of sauce that she said tasted like it came from a jar and she was also totally disappointed with her meal. I ordered the veal D'Angelo I believe it was called. It was terrible. Maybe 3-4oz of 1/8" thick pounded veal at best over about a pound of the driest pasta I've ever been served in my life and it had maybe one sliced mushroom in it along with a few leaves of spinach. I wasn't expecting gourmet from the time I walked in but I was expecting to get a decent meal. Very disappointed in your place and there's nothing to rectify. I paid my bill and I'll never be back. If you wanted to give me a free meal I wouldn't even feel comfortable giving it away to a starving homeless person.

Great local restaurant with friendly staff who make you feel at home. Wide range of delicious food options and something for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of free parking. Craft cocktails with fine wine and beer.

so full disclaimer, that we tried this place because it was close to where I was getting my car serviced. I just wanted to kill an hour with a nice meal with my grandmother and kiddo. It’s kind of tucked away in that little strip mall on the other side of new center near target. I didn’t even know it existed until looking up restaurants near the area. That being said, DO NOT SLEEP ON DINING AT CIANA! We went for an early Thursday dinner around 4:30pm and the place was empty (after the meal this blew my mind because it was all incredible). The man who sat us was very friendly. Our server Ashley was attentive and made great recommendations. For starters we had the fried mozzarella. For mains we ordered scallops a la vodka with angel hair, the stuffed eggplant and my kiddo got the free kids pasta and marinara. Both the adult entrees came with a a choice of soup/salad. We had the fagioli which was their soup of the day- it was an excellent choice. My grandmother and I also decided to order two dishes to go for our men folk. To go we got the lasagna (huge portion & came with soup) and my grandmother got the chicken parm (even bigger portion and got the Side Caesar). Our husbands were ecstatic!Extra bonus- Our server had it timed it so well that our to go order came out the exact same time that we were ready to request boxes & the check. I could not have asked for a better place to have a meal with my family.*** I did not take pictures of the take out plates. They were packed away, so perfectly I didn’t want to ruin the “fresh from the oven” ambience for the fellas, lol. But I did take pictures of our main dishes this evening.**saw on Facebook that tonight’s Thursday special was BOGO 50% off of dine in entrées but we were not informed of this while we dined in this evening. It was not applied to our bill either. However, even though that’s a bummer it doesn’t ruin a great meal.Kid-friendliness: Half their kids menu is “kids eat free” when dining with an adult- can’t beat that.
