Great food! Chicken was super tender. One of the best in Wilmington.
This is one of my favorite restaurants, so I decided to celebrate my birthday here.
My husband and I selected from the Prix Fixe menu. We both ordered the Caesar salad. I ordered the pork Milanese and he ordered the Bolognese.
The salads were huge! We could have easily shared one. It was delicious. My pork Milanese was outstanding! It was a large cut, nicely breaded (not thick in breadcrumbs), topped with arugula, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and a remoulade. It was one of the best Milanese I've ever had. The Bolognese is always a hit and favorite too.
For dessert, we had the mini crème Brule and mini peanut butter mousse.
Codi provided very nice service.
Cocktails are pricey. We were waiting at the bar for our table, as we got there a little early. The bartender said they ranged $16 to $18 (prices not posted on the menu). That's a little high, so I waited to order a glass of sparkling wine at dinner.
The place was pretty full. I love the atmosphere of the place.
The food was excellent! But, our server, Amanda O REALLY made it a great evening ! She was friendly, helpful, efficient and professional!! 5 of us ordered different meals and everyone was happy! BTW - save room for dessert!! Definitely recommend!!
The portions are on the small side but the food tasted great and the service was attentive in an interesting atmosphere with a bank vault.
There’s not enough words to describe how awesome this place is. The food is the best I’ve ever had from the bread to the Caesar salad, the salmon and sirloin literally melts in your mouth. I usually am not for spending a couple hundred bucks on food but it’s worth far more than that. It’s not just eating food, it’s an experience. You won’t regret spending the money I can guarantee it. So stop reading this and put in your reservation.
Fine and casual; food is good; service is incredible; atmosphere is friendly and elegant.
Bolognese was delicious but it needed a little bit more pasta (too much sauce), filet was good, pork Milanese goood.
My boyfriend and I were passing through Wilmington on his birthday and couldn’t resist stopping to dine here since the menu looked to be right up our alley. I can tell you that Circa 1922 exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, very romantic. The food was on point! We had been traveling for several days & this might have been our best meal of the trip. We had the tuna bombs (yum!), heirloom tomato salad, bolognese, paella, wine & creme brûlée. The entrees and dessert were delectable! This is coming from two foodies who frequently dine at fine establishments everywhere. The icing on the cake was our waitress, Courtney. She was very friendly and enjoyable to speak with and offered great suggestions. She was attentive and even snapped some photos of us with no complaints. We had to commemorate this wonderful experience!! Would highly recommend to anyone.
Fantastic food! Loved it and will definitely be back...
Nikki was a great server! Elevated dining & drinks along with piano bar vibes. We tried Beef tartare, crab dip, and specialty cocktails. The crab dip was one of the best we’ve ever had!
Nikki went above and beyond. Not only did she make exquisite recommendations for meals and wine pairings, she was an excellent couples counseling mediator for me and my estranged husband who resurfaced days prior. She helped me find the courage to set boundaries while rediscovering our love. Thank you Nikki

Circa 1922 is absolutely the best restaurant we have found in the Wilmington area. We have been going there for the past 11 years! You could not ask for better service, better food, or a better atmosphere.
Classy, delicious, and highly recommend. Awesome experience.
Great atmosphere great service
Food was absolutely amazing, however the portions were small for how much you paid for them. It was also a beautiful restaurant and had great ambience. My only real gripe with this place was our server Amanda. She was very rude to us and ruined my wife and I last experience out till she gives birth. I don't know it it was a one off experience with this establishment or this is the norm but it is enough for us to never come back.

What the heck happened? I’ve been here twice before and had great meals in a great atmosphere with great service. Tonight the service and atmosphere did not disappoint but the food was… bad. I had the flounder with shrimp. The caper sauce was good but the seafood was probably frozen. It was very dry, overcooked and flavorless. Completely unacceptable for a restaurant with their reputation and prices.
