I won’t be returning until the grand-opening hype subsides. As someone in law enforcement, it’s unsettling when you can’t even take off the badge and gun to enjoy a late lunch with your family without incident. My wife, sons, and I arrived intentionally after 2:00 PM on a Friday, hoping to avoid the recent lunch-hour chaos.
After waiting in line for about twenty minutes to place our order, I couldn't help but observe a young male—approximately 19 to 23 years old—standing ahead of us with three companions. They all emitted a strong odor of cannabis and were loud, using frequent profanity and drawing attention to themselves. More concerning, the individual was carrying a black handgun in his front waistband, partially concealed but positioned in a manner clearly intended to signal to anyone observant that he was armed.

We had a couple of employees with birthdays this week that wanted to try Dave's Hot Chicken. We placed an online order for 14 people at the Palm Beach Lakes location and picked up the order. Got back to the office to find they accidentally shorted us 4 orders. No big deal. We called to square up with them and they told us we were wrong and there was no way they made a mistake. Actually hung up on us when we called to discuss. Nothing like providing superior customer service to insure repeat customers. Guess we will continue do our work Birthday lunches elsewhere, perhaps Raising Canes!

I went to Dave’s hot chicken I ordered my food didn’t look at it until I got home and got someone else order but I wouldn’t go back because it was a 30 minute drive was upset bout not getting what I paid for.

The staff were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you like spicy food, the hot chicken sandwiches balance heat out perfectly. 10/10 will go again

My husband has wanted to come to Dave's since the first time we saw it a few years ago. We finally went today and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, the music was amazing and I'm assuming she was the manager was so friendly it genuinely made me feel like we were just visiting someones house and their mom was making us a delicious dinner. Would recommend and will be eating here again!
The staff was very friendly but this location is very much understaffed. No drive thru so I had to go inside to order, 15 minute wait to order then 20 minutes to recieve order after paying. Everything is overpriced but the food itself is very good.
