I can’t go back to this place.
I found it poorly run and got the feeling that it’s owned by some dumb spoiled rich dude who has never run a business, who doesn’t care, and has this place as some type of write off or hobby. I have no proof of this but after working with entrepreneurs and businesses over the years, it just feels like an absentee owner situation. Can someone out there clarify?
I’ve tried it multiple times, had bad experiences, but then waited a while and went back.
This last time the utensils were dirty but still wrapped in a napkin (who would wrap dirty utensils up to be provided to customers?) and my order was wrong.
There are too many other places to support that feel like the folks on the front line have some skin in the game and really care.

This is a cute little coffee and sandwich shop if you're in the area. It's a tad pricey compared to something you might find in midtown, but commensurate with its area. Their open faced avocado toast breakfast seems to be a hit with guests I've met there. It's not a super roomy space but they do seem to be open to those who want to work while the snack. I recommend this spot for small, informal meets or a quick solo bite.

This is a special little place for my husband and I as we would stop here after my breast cancer treatments/surgeries by the hospital. I love the vibe in here from the decor, the awesome workers and most importantly, the food and drinks. Every single item purchased here was always well executed in taste and plating. Thank you all for being the smile or friendly voice after not so good times.

Food case was caked with dust. Bathroom needed cleaning. Paid too much for weak cold brew and had to throw away the latte due to spoiled milk.

I am a local repair vender for Havcr company, and was simply blown away by Sod and the team of barista’s at this location!!!! The kindness and the ability to communicate in such a kind and professional way has shocked me. I’m in restaurants all day everyday, and this team has really got it together! They saved me time and they saved the company money by being on top of Everything!!!! Well done yall!!!!! I look forward to me and the wife coming up on weekends for coffee! Also soooooo glad to find a Drift coffee in basically my back yard.

My favorite breakfast spot!
HOWEVER….PLEASE put up signage on weekends that the seating area is not a study hall!!! People want to sit down and eat and tables are taken up by girls on laptops without food.

Drift Coffee & Kitchen was such a good stop on our trip. The coffee was wonderful—smooth, rich, and exactly what we needed. The space itself is super clean, bright, and trendy, with a really welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. You can tell they put thought into the details, from the design to the way everything is set up. It was the perfect place to take a break and recharge before getting back on the road. Grateful for the pick-me-up and definitely would stop again. Also the salted Carmel oat coconut was phenomenal!

Beware of the menu deception. Ordered the savory pancakes with scrambled eggs instead of sunny side, bill comes with an extra $2.50 for scrambling an egg lol. Ask the waitress about it, “I’ve never seen that before” but proceeds to run the card anyway. In the words of admiral akbar, “It’s a trap”, a tourist trap. No wonder locals have moved to other beaches.
Absolutely fantastic espresso and fresh food. The staff is amazing. I’d be here every day if I lived close by

The service and food together just don’t measure up for me at this location. It’s okay. It’s a bit overpriced when you consider the entire experience. A bit slow in the ordering process every time that I’ve been lately and nothing ever tastes “good”, just bearable/alright - espresso, matcha, lunch bowls, breakfast - all meh lately. Forgotten food items, uncooked egg whites, portions that are lacking or seem leaner than before etc.
It’s so cute inside! And I think there’s hope since other Drift locations do it better.
