The food was amazing. The service was quick. We will definitely return the next time we are in Wilmington.

I grabbed take out here last night. The quesadilla was great, but what really stuck with me was the awesome atmosphere. Every single staff member seemed genuinely happy, friendly, and welcoming. I really appreciated that! It just feels like a great place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal!

10/10!! Food, drinks and experience was great. Was visiting out of town and wish we had a location near us. Will definitely be back next time we return. Would recommend.

I came here with a vicious appetite, and the portions did not fail. It tame and satisfying the beast. I’m ready to go walk this off. One of my favorite things about this place was the complimentary chips and salsa. But we not only got one salsa but 3, so everyone had their own sauce to dip. Music was great and service was above standard. We will be back!

Our drinks and dinner was so, so good! Staff was great aswell as attentive. Our waiter helped with the menu along with other questions we had!!! Thank you for the good food and a great atmosphere n location

Great place for authentic Mexican food.
Drinks and food were superb.The staff was friendly and attentive. It also is a fun and inviting atmosphere. Ronaldo the manager was top notch and on point with his recommendations.

Food is bland and boring. Edible, but far from being anything close to authentic. Service is fine. They pay real close attention to what you're doing! Atmosphere is just meh, like any other chain-type restaurant. Nothing special. No need to go out of your way to visit. You'll leave full but underwhelmed.

El Cerro has been our go-to since the Galleria Wrightsville Beach days. Not only do we love the food, we love the people. It feels more like family when we visit, our little girl has literally grown up going there weekly.

All the servers are great and the bar tenders are fantastic. Especially Gina, she remembers our preferences and often reminds us if we forget to ask for something a certain way and ensures my very particular husband gets the food prepared the way he wants.

Dietary restrictions: My husband has dietary restrictions that change almost weekly - low sodium one week, watch potassium the next. This is one of the few places we to that we know will get it right every time

Kid-friendliness: My little girl has been going there since the week she came home and is now 7. She loves the staff and food as much as we do. When we visit without her everyone asks about her.

This is my favorite El Cerro Grande location. The food comes out quick and I've never had a bad meal. My wife and I like to get the Fajitas for Two, which always ends up being enough for leftovers.

Was wearing my Trump fight fight fight t-shirt and after being seated the wait staff intentionally ignored us. We left and won’t ever be going back.
