Greasy crab cake, AC can't handle Summer temps, service good.
Fish tacos were the best!
We had a party of 6 that ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. My wife ordered a salad because she has a seafood allergy, and the waiter said that they didn't keep their seafood and non-seafood items separated in the kitchen. Appetizers came and were great. Entree's came and there was no salad. The waiter said he would bring it right out so the rest of us started eating. 20 minutes later the rest of us are finishing our meals and still no salad. The waiter came out and realized that everyone was ready to leave. He offered to have her salad put in a box which she declined. No comp was offered for her trouble, no apology either.
Elijah's is a restaurant that we have enjoyed taking friends to when they come in from out of town for years, but that won't happen again.
Indoor & outdoor dining on the river. Casual restaurant with nice seafood options and drink selections.
Great view of the river.
My partner and I decided to go to Elijah’s the other night. It wasn’t busy and we got a seat on the best part of the patio so I was excited!! Our server was fantastic, I wish I could remember her name to give her credit. It’s safe to say she will know who she is if she reads this review because I literally couldn’t stop telling her how shocked I was about the menu. The menu has been the same for YEARS so I didn’t think to look it up before coming. There was literally almost nothing on the menu to choose from. All of the things that were from the previous menu that were VERY popular were gone. And I would know how popular the items were because I used to work there! Of course it was years ago when I worked there but when I went to Elijah’s less than a year ago the menu was the same from when I was an employee. I don’t know if they made the menu so bland because they are so nervous about consistency or what because there wasn’t even a special or anything like usual. In the end I ended up getting an insanely expensive salad and wings, drank my pineapple juice and realized the only thing I’m paying for here is the view at this point because the food just wasn’t exciting like it used to be.
We had a family meal with a party of six tonight. Our server was Justin. From the beginning the service was severely disappointing. My spouse and I were the last to arrive, Justin greeted us a few minutes later with a request to take our drink orders. My spouse took just a few seconds to look at the beer menu and before she could really even find the beer selection, Justin walked off saying he would just bring waters. He continued to make us feel rushed throughout the entire meal. At the end of the meal, I guess he asked someone how the checks were going to be split and brought the checks and tossed my check on my plate while I was still eating and walked off. First, had I heard the check splitting question, I would have taken the entire tables check as this was a special goodbye to my folks as they are moving away. Second, why would you put a check on a guests plate while there was still food on the plate mid bite? I was incredibly angry. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. I was a restaurant manager for several years and I get that servers can have bad days. However, don’t blatantly rush your guests, use some respect and at least politely say you’ll give them more time to decide. Wait till all guests are done eating before asking about desert and checks and never put a dirty clip board with the check on a guests plate while they are still eating.
As far as the food goes, my mother had the flounder and found it to be inedible. My spouse and I shared steamed seafood bucket for two. Our food was done well and tasted very good, however, there is nowhere near enough crab for one person let alone for two inside the bucket.(1 claw and a few legs) I can see how the other shellfish quantities could be sufficient for two people but I highly recommend one bucket per person if you don’t want to leave hungry. My spouse and I had to go home and cook to not go hungry.
There were no complaints from the other three guests. They were happy with their meals. Just unhappy with the rushed service we received from Justin. There are better ways to spend $100 per couple.
The food was delicious! Our waitress Nicky was awesome with service. I would definitely go back again.
very delicious, but supper was underwhelming- the lobster roll had barely any meat and the shrimp pasta was very watery. Nevertheless, the waitress was extremely nice and attentive and the view to the riverfront was beautiful during sunset.
We enjoy the view outside while eating our foods.

Today was the worst service I have received anywhere in YEARS!!! I don't know if Jocelyn was new, or having a bad day, or just a terrible server in general. It took 10min be be greeted. We put our whole order in as we had plenty of time to go over the menu. It took 30min to get appetizers, which were actually pretty good. Calamari was a bit chewy but the poke was good and the raw oysters were fresh. I practically had to hand Jocelyn the dirty plates to get them off the table. She forgot the cheese bread but managed to get it out after we were done with our other appetizers but still before my beer that I had ordered at the start. The cheese bread was supposed to have olives and pimentos but was literally just toasted bread with cheese. We didn't dare comment or we may have been there another hour. My beer finally came about 10min after I got her to pick up the dirty plates and then entrees came about 5min after that. The "grilled" salmon on the salad was so greasy it seemed like they dunked it in the fryer. The crab cake sandwich was acceptable but not great. My buddy seemed to enjoy his fish and chips but was upset he didn't get any malt vinegar and again, was scared to ask for it in fear of slowing down service anymore. Total time for lunch was an hour and 40 min. This used to be one of my favorite places on the water but after this experience, I don't know that I will be coming back. I gave them 2 stars because the food wasn't awful, just the service.

Our server was friendly and attentive. Nice location on the Riverwalk. The food was just okay. We got a blackened shrimp po boy, fish & chips and peel & eat shrimp. It was all just okay, nothing I'd go back for.
