We arrived about an hour before closing and requested to sit on the patio—unaware that it had already been mostly closed down for the night. Despite that, the hostess provided exceptional customer service. She never made us feel like an inconvenience or rushed, even though it was near closing time. Her friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out and made us feel welcome.
The food was absolutely incredible, too—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. From start to finish, it was a great experience. This kind of hospitality, especially at the end of a long shift, is rare and truly appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!

Came in with my spouse and got seated right away. The host said our server would be with us shortly, but we ended up sitting there for 10 minutes without anyone coming over. Meanwhile, two other tables with bigger parties directly next to us were seated after us and both had servers come by immediately to take their drink orders. We kept waiting, thinking someone would come over, but nope completely ignored. After 15 minutes, we decided to just leave. Terrible experience.

We ordered take out pizza. The crust and sauce were good but the toppings were extremely skimpy. Pricey for what we got, but we will try again in case it was a off night.

Megan… oh Megan…. Where do I begin??? She was so sweet, embracing us with her elegant smile. Her service was quick, concise, and to par with many 5 star restaurants I’ve had. I would try fat Tony’s for the food, but I would come back for Megan.

Asked for a "personal size" pizza extra cheesy, boy did chef deliver!!!!!!!! This was the pizza I've been craving forever and someone finally did it right!!!! Couldn't even eat it all in one sitting! Only wish I didn't live six hours away ? (Also, great pleasant service and food came out promptly!)
Stopped in after spotting their charming patio from the waterfront! So glad we did! Took the servers recommendation and ordered the fettuccini Alfredo (amazing sauce) and of course we had to have one of the highly recommended meatballs (chefs kiss!).
Stop in and enjoy some good eats!

We loved the service and atmosphere here at Fat Toni’s. The food was a bit pricey but you could definitely taste the freshness of each flavor. We shared a personal pizza and a their meatball sub with side salads. Very delicious and very tender meats. The pizza was cooked to perfection. You can get whatever toppings you choose! Will be going here again when I’m back in Wilmington.

I ate here before and the food was amazing. I returned several months later with friends and family and the experience was completely different. Three out of the seven people thought their entrées tasted horrible. The three dishes all had red sauce that looked several days old, dry, but also had a very odd taste. Not sure what happened to the food. I was embarrassed I recommended the restaurant for the last dinner of our trip.
