I should start by saying I tried to deliver this feedback directly to management but couldn’t find anyone and they provide no email address on the receipt or anything like that. I’ve been eating here for over a year, and the quality has declined noticeably. This is currently the worst First Watch in Wilmington. the Mayfaire location is consistently better. I’d like to see this location improve since it’s much closer. If it does, I’ll gladly update my review.
Front-of-house appearance is below even casual standards. Shirts look wrinkled, grooming is inconsistent, and the overall presentation feels unclean. Basic uniform, grooming, and cleanliness expectations need to be enforced.
Several basics are failing. Guests are allowed to smoke or vape at tables. Decor and finishes are visibly dirty, with stained upholstered chairs, dusty lights and hanging elements, and sticky floors with built-up grime. The lack of soft materials makes the space loud, cold, and echoey, and there are too few booths. Service has also dropped. Coffee is no longer poured, just left in a pot. Overall cleanliness, atmosphere, and service standards need correction.

Ordered Frittata Rustica with Italian sausage added. FANTASTIC! Lots of flavor. Even the grits were tasty. Service was great. Hailey is very pleasant and as attentive as needed. I lacked for nothing and service was timely.
