The food was honestly really awful for the price, also incredibly weird. The calamari was fantastic as was the tiramisu, but the pastas were egregious, they were essentially an amalgamation of non complimenting meats that were watered down with sauce, almost like a stew. Service was okay and the staff was nice, bread service was very mediocre and only brought out once. Great scenery though, for the price the food was not on par at all.
Great food and great service. Our server was amazing and provided us with information about specials.
Celebrated our three year anniversary a wanted to have that “fancy but not too posh” experience and this was exactly that. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing. He answered all of our questions, and was overall an enthusiastic employee.
We made a reservation for 7:15PM. We arrived early to put our name on the waiting list for a patio seat which they were easily able to accommodate. Sat down at 7PM. Food & drinks were good. Didn't feel rushed at all. Service was great, staff were very friendly.
Definitely will go back. My wife asked where I wanted to go for my birthday, and I said there. I had the duck, which was cooked perfectly. The polenta was delicious. The peach salad was great. The Tom Collin's were the best I have had in 30 years. My wife had the brussel sprouts which were better this time than last. Her salad, unfortunately, had to be sent back because of the hot honey that was bathed over the salad. Her braised short rib though, was melt in your mouth delicious. I want to thank all the staff for a great dinner and a great job
The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown. We were able to walk from our hotel but there was also plenty of nearby parking. It's absolutely adorable with the outdoor balcony seating. The server was great and the food came out pretty quickly.
Part of my vacation in NC has to always include a visit here! Brought our toddler son for the first time and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. My husband had the spicy shrimp dish and I had duck breast - both were great! I had the chocolate mousse for dessert - my son ate the whipped cream and the staff was kind enough to bring me more. Thanks for a lovely evening, as always!
Go here... balcony seating or not... it's amazing! The food and drink are a mixture of filling and perfection. Also... ask for Tyler. He made every penny of our bill worth it and then some! Trust his wine and drink choices too.
We had a great experience at Floriana Wilmington. The food, the service were all excellent. We went on a Thursday, were able to sit on a balcony which just added to the experience. Highly recommend!
Our Floriana experience was top tier! Highly recommend for a lovely evening, date, or special occasion.

Cocktails were amazing. Food was amazing. Authentic homemade Italian cuisine. The view from the intimate balconies was superb. Felt like Europe. The staff was excellent.
Outstanding Menu and Food Quality was Great as Always. Impeccable service and great atmosphere A real "GEM" in Downtown Wilmington which needs to be on your "Must Go" list.
It was a very nice dining experience. The atmosphere, food, and service was great. Out only disappointment wa that we followed the directions on the website and skied up 30 minutes early to get on the waiting list for a balcony table but was told at 8 pm that the people currently on the balcony would be out there until 9:15 and the kitchen closed at 9:30 so we would not get a table on the balcony that night.
Dinner was fabulous. The waitress was so accommodating as to all of our requests. Beautiful location.
We had a pretty good experience. First off, the food, superb! Arrancini was the best I've had! So flavorful and melting with cheese and crispy on the outside. Ceasar salad was excellent with a sliced hard boiled egg, sounds strange but it added something yummy. Dressing had a touch of mustard. Both of us got the bolognese sauce over fettuccini. Amazing! So flavorful with veal, pork and beef meat. Topping off the meal with the best rice pudding we ever had! Service was a little scattered. We asked for salt, pepper. Got the salt on the table, but they took pepper away. Asked for straws, they brought one. That can all be overlooked with the quality of the meal and the reasonable charge. Go!!
