After eating here, it's apparent that the sushi you've had in the past just can't measure up to Genki. I'm not sure how they do it, but their sushi always seems to melt in your mouth. Fresh, fresh and extremely tasty every time we come here.

Great meal, but the premixed wasabi paste was a letdown. I would have given them 5 stars if they used the real, freshly grated root.

Chef Danny really outdid himself and they were even able to accommodate my wife's gluten allergies 🙌 They whipped up a gluten free spicy mayo and had several gluten free options to choose from and made modifications to her favorite rolls. Thank y'all again for a fantastic dinner!

Date night at my favorite sushi spot. The sushi is mid. There are ones that are not worth to be on special menu. The rolls are made poorly so it falls out. The special roles are worse in taste than regular roles. Would recommend skipping this place. Sushi prices are high end and taste is on opposite end. Anyways making sushi at home would roughly equal to the special sushi here.

I really delicious food.
My rice was swimming in teriyaki sauce but I added some more rice to it the next day and it was just as good!
My wife liked the katsudon as well, though I will say both meats were a little on the dry side but still full of flavor!

We wanted Sushi and the search took us to Genki and we couldn't be happier! Chef Dan is so talented in what he does and putting all the right flavors together for that magical taste! He even makes his own soy sauce (we bought a pint). Arigato!

Really good! great service everyone really nice thats working there..
The one complaint i have is the Toro was not worth it at all..(just my opinon) it is a pricy place but very good and I will be going back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and it absolutely hit the spot. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. I loved the consistency of every roll — super clean presentation and great taste. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt easy and enjoyable. Definitely one of the better casual sushi spots around. Highly recommend!

If you want authentic Japanese food here is only one place in town. I have been going there for over 10 yrs. I have been to Japan many times and it's as close as you can get locally. Please enjoy and please make reservations.

I read such great reviews but our homemade miso soup was cold, my son got salmon miso and his was not cold. The food was oki was expecting this great food. Services was good
