I went to this place for a gluten free cake for my husband, and it was delicious! We ordered strawberry cake and the taste was not super strong and it had really good balance with the frosting. I bought the sandwich bread and it was not that good, maybe I need to heat it better because it was a bit dry. My entire family is in love with GF by the Sea. What a treat for someone with celiac disease to have an exclusively GF bakery in town. My daughter has some challenging allergies and the owner has worked with me numerous times to get a cake & baked goods for her birthday that adheres to her allergies. Several people in our family do not have allergies and love everything produced by this place. Pictured is a cookie cake made for my daughters 2nd birthday! It was so delicious! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I simply do not have words to express my appreciation and delight at this place. After my diagnosis two years ago, I never imagined I would eat a pound cake and such awesome banana bread again. Not to mention their brownies which are nothing short of HEAVENLY. This place is simply unbelievable for their quality, taste, and pricing. The owner is also very helpful and friendly. Seriously, I am considering moving from NJ to NC only so I can visit them more often. If you are looking for a GF bakery in the Wilmington area, the search is over!
