I have been to this establishment on different occasions and have never before had this experience. My home girl and I went in the evening of 2/03/24, walked in, I pulled up a chair at the bar and then waited to be seen by a bartender. My home girl and I chatted for a bit before realizing that no one was taking our order or attempting to service us. We were the only two African American women seated at the bar. We were not hard to miss at all. After waiting a while, a male bartender, who serviced us previously, came to take our order. He was polite and I had no issue with him. I then over here the woman bartender ask, “What did they say”. As if she could not have walked over and asked us because that’s her job. We simply walked in and took our seats. This was blatant. A party sat next to us and the same woman made sure to service them. And yes they appeared to be Caucasian. Doing this any time but especially during Black History Month is very sad. I won’t be returning.

Just an average place to get average drinks and hang out with people late at night. You go down the stairway and into the tavern. Plenty of people are there, the bar serves your basic drinks and beers. Super casual, nothing good, nothing bad.

There is a doorman here named Jeff. Jeff is not a good person. Jeff is poor and he has a bad attitude and bad behaviors. If Jeff is any indication of the establishment as a whole the establishment is poor at best. 1 star at best. They advertise themselves as a place for food and beverage service in the basement of an apartment building in Wilmington North Carolina. They have an outdoor area to drink and smoke cigarettes in the alleyway between an apartment building and a convienence store in Wilmington North Carolina. As far as improvements go... Jeff needs to be removed and I will make sure that happens otherwise have fun smoking cigs at 1 am in a dark dirty alleyway in Wilmington nc in October in 40 degreee weather nursing a $12 vodka soda you broke losers

Yes they accept credit cards. But I wouldn't leave your tab open. I did and was charged $176.81 as well as the $28.00 (that was legit). We did not drink $176.81 in the short time we stayed. I won't be going back there and will be talking to my credit card company!

Awesome bar atmosphere. Cool niches to sit in. Best coffee ☕️ shot ever !Pool tables and dance music bring out the large crowds of mainly college students . Great bar staff also. Gets a bit warm once it packed out later in the evening.
