The bartenders can be pretty rude once you order a drink after 9 pm. They are open til 10, so I would think I could order a final drink at 9:30 without getting rude remarks and feeling like I’m being rushed to leave. This has happened many times that I have been to Hi-Wire. Probably done going there.
We sponsored an event at hi-wire for the WWAY spring showcase. We absolutely loved designing the flowers! The space has so much to work with! Hip and creative murals, colorful and spacious rooms, amazing outside beer garden, and delicious beers!

Hi-Wire Brewing Wilmington is a fun place for all ages, with lots of space both inside and out. It offers a solid craft beer selection, including excellent Sours, a Sour Blonde Ale, and an anniversary IPA called Bobbo’s Ringmaster 12 year Anniversary. The atmosphere is fun and cool, perfect for beating the heat. Kids love the arcade games, and dogs are welcome too. Friendly service is a highlight, and guests can order delicious and huuuge pizza or fire roasted 16” pizza or personal 10” size from the pizza place next door. There is outdoor seating, live music, and even a pet adoption event. Be sure to lock doors if street parking.
