Hi-Wire Brewing - Wilmington

Personally, I don’t like culturally controversial signs and statements when I go out to enjoy a beer. I don’t care which side you agree with, I just don’t want it with my beer. The beer was as good as any other local brewery but I’ll go to the others that aren’t trying to convince me of their political views while I drink my beer. Think about it from the opposing point of view, would you like that? You’re alienating 50% of your customer base maybe more.

Dynamite beer, fun atmosphere, good for all ages, and lots of space both inside and out. There's arcade games to keep the kiddos distracted--hat tip to the ownership. There's a pizza place next store that seems to have a symbiotic relationship with the brewery. Also, a microbrewery that actually has good beer! Loved the Oktoberfest brew. Be sure to lock your doors if street parking.

Solid craft beer selection. Plenty of room. Outdoor seating available. Live music. Friendly service.

You can have tasty Italian pizza delivered to your table from Cugini Forno (next door).

Love this place! So open and fun and always hosting events that bring the community together. They have an n/a juicy ipa that is a delight!

Staff is so welcoming and kind and makes you feel right at home! Variety of options and events - 10/10

There was some lady who hangs around here ranting, weird experience really, hopefully management can figure out how to get rid of her.

Awesome cold beer - nothing is better

Excellent Sours, no lactose which I cannot do! I like them sour and funky but not hoppy or sweet. I first enjoyed in Asheville. Enjoying Sour Blonde Ale. Partner loving the anniversary IPA - Bobbo’s Ringmaster 12 year Anniversary. Great pizza place on the same property that make fire roasted 16” pizza’s or personal 10” size.

Loved it here, and so did our dog! Just a really cool (emphasis on “cool”; we were looking for a place to beat the heat) environment to hang out in. There was even a pet adoption event while we were there. We will definitely be back!

Good atmosphere, good beer selection, service is a little bit coldish

Awesome place! Fun atmosphere. It was busy Saturday night when we went but they still had super fast service. Live music is a great addition.

Michelle is constantly on it and so friendly! I look forward to seeing her every week, she MAKES our trivia night. Wouldn’t the same without her! We love you Michelle!!!!!

The 10w40 Smores and Strongman stouts are freaking excellent!!!!! If you like stouts, in my opinion, you would be remiss not to try these!! Thanks Michelle and Andy for your recommendation.

Sometime in 2024... I really enjoy Hi Wire beer and the service at this establishment. I especially enjoy the lagers, browns, and stouts. I can always count on Michelle to steer me to a great tasting beer!

The bartenders were super friendly and helpful. Had a fun afternoon playing games and having a beer.
