Worst experience at IHOP. Never coming here again. Had to wait 20 minutes just to receive our waters. The server had a bad attitude. The food took an HOUR to come out and it wasn’t even that good. This place SUCKS! I will NEVER even think about returning to this DUMP.

The.food was what you would expect from from an IHOP, though the portions seem to have gotten smaller. The setting was as generic as any IHOP I've previously been to. The service was prompt and polite, without being intrusive.

IDIOTS!!! What a joke, we called ahead to make sure they had the item we wanted. We drove an hour to get there to be told they dont actually have the ingredients to make it.

Ordered for curbside on the app. Got to IHOP andthe app said they seen I had arrived. I waited and waited. I go inside and my order had been ready for 20 minutes just sitting there. I requested a refund and was told since it was ordered on the app I'd have to use the app for a refund. Can't even do that cause it won't let me upload the proof. Also food was missing. The bacon and sausage in my childs kids meal
I'm requesting a refund through this Google review since I can't do it any other way .. until this issue is resolved this review will not change

I may have been the first Customer on the morning of 22 Oct 25. This review is directed to the Chef. I ordered the Cali Roasted Turkey. Sir, that had to be the BEST prepared that I've ever eaten. The level of care taken was duly noted....lightly seared marks on the turkey, the Roasted tomatoes were warm and juicy, the strips of bacon, the sliced avocados, and cheese placed neatly between the bread. For the Host, Thank you for attentiveness, ensuring that my needs were met. The professional display both of you didn't go unnoticed.

We had been genuinely looking forward to visiting the IHOP in Wilmington as a treat while vacationing after many years. However, our experience was a fail and utter disaster that left a bad taste in our mouths.

From the moment we walked in, it was painfully clear that the staff are completely incompetent and utterly inefficient. The entryway was crowded, yet nine (9) empty tables were visible from the door (I counted!), but no one was managing the flow or proactively seating guests.

The front-of-house staff displayed a complete lack of basic hospitality. There was no warmth, no acknowledgment, no apologies, and no effort to make customers feel welcome. It was as if we were dispensable. And when we approached them, the attitude was as if they were doing us a favor.

This level of neglect and disorganization is inexcusable for any restaurant.

After waiting far too long without any measurable movement or visible effort from staff to rectify the situation, we walked out without even being seated.

IHOP Wilmington, you have single-handedly turned joyful breakfast plans into a pungent exercise in futility. Avoid this location if you value your time, nerves, commonly sense, and dignity.

I had breakfast there this morning by myself. My waitress was a tall light skinned girl. She was just wonderful, and so was the rest of the staff from the hostess to the cooks, and other wait staff as well. It was extremely clean, and well stocked. I haven't had such great service in a very long time. Keep up the good work!

Although there were lots of empty tables, the greeter let the three parties waiting to be seated that they were short staffed and had a party 30 in process. We did have a little wait but got seated reasonably quickly.

The overworked server took our order and brought our meals. As she took our order, she inexplicably told us what our bil would come to, as if she expected us to pay in advance, but she caught herself and clarified that we wouldn't pay until our meal was over.

The food was good, so no complaints there, but they clearly need some additional staff.

Just stood in there for ten minutes waiting to be seated. The sever seen me behind 1 2 top an a single person she sits them. Then walks away and proceeded to ignore me horrible customer service.. To top it off she started taking orders from them

The waiter spilled hot chocolate all Over my wife. We waited an hour for our food and they were not busy. Two people sat down. Another table sat down and got their food before us. When they brought us our food. They were missing a whole meal. I am tired of ihop take so long to cook breakfast foods especially pancakes. This franchise need to get back to the drawing board. They only offer me 10 percent off after i complain. They wasnt going compensate my wife after they burn her with hot chocolate. I will never return to another IHOP. Period. If you reading this dont go its waste of time and money. More bad thing happened i would be here all day typing.
