I did take out. The food was excellent and I really like Thai food.

They were super busy when we were there but the wait time was worth the wait!! Best thai food me and my husband have had in a long time! :))

Good food and atmosphere, but unfortunately our server McKayla wasn't very attentive. It took her 15 minutes to greet us at our table, and she seemed to ignore our table for the majority of our lunch. Our water glasses sat empty for 20 minutes (which is not great when you are eating spicy food), even though she filled glasses at her other tables.

We would have ordered more food, but we didn't want to sit around waiting for her to come back. The table next to us said this was not normal for this restaurant, so it could have just been an isolated incident! Still probably worth a visit to see the decor, and the food was good!

Walking into Indochine felt less like stepping into a Vietnamese restaurant and more like volunteering for a round in a sweat lodge. They stuck us in a corner where it had to be at least 78–80 degrees, and apparently, their definition of “comfort” is watching guests slowly roast like rotisserie chickens. To make things worse, there weren’t nearly enough servers for the crowd they kept seating, so every request felt like we were competing in a Hunger Games-style battle for attention. By the time the food finally arrived, I was too busy debating whether dehydration or boredom would get me first to even care.

Vietnamese food is supposed to be bright, fresh, and full of life—but this was bland, limp, and utterly forgettable. I left hot, irritated, and wondering if anyone in the kitchen has ever tasted their own dishes or turned on an A/C unit.

The food here is ok but lacks any depth, authenticity, and bold flavors that define true Thai or Vietnamese food. It seems tailored more for people seeking a mild, more bland version of their food. While the service was great, the dining area was very dirty, had a faint mildew smell, and there were a ton of fruit flies. I’d prefer a late night Chinese restaurant with a child at the register before coming back here.

Atmosphere alone was worse the visit.

We waited longer than we should have since the hostess dropped the ball but our server and the food made up for it. Reese was awesome!!

I have always loved Indochine. As a Wilmington native it’s a staple to my favorites. The atmosphere is so nice, and the food is always spectacular.
