I’m not sure what has happened to this place in recent years, but the quality has taken a significant fall. I have ordered to go orders from here several times, and they have failed to include items that are part of the order and items requested with the order. Tonight, I ordered pad Thai, and this is the 3rd time in a row they didn’t include peanuts, silverware, or a side of spice, which was always included in the past. The quality of the pad Thai is no longer the same either. The flavor is typically bland and not what you expect from a Thai restaurant. I no longer recommend this restaurant, as many others have spoken about its downfall on Facebook. I’ve been to Thailand and I know what good Thai food is, and this isn't it. Go elsewhere. You will appreciate the smaller restaurants that pay more attention to detail. Indochine is a large business with multiple sister restaurants ran by the same owner. They have lost their authenticity

It was a busy Saturday and there was a 30-45 min wait which we expected. When we were seated indoors however and were brought menus and water, we waited 20 more minutes for the waitress to return to get our orders. The tables were wet which I didn’t mind but my mom was upset by it, however she did not complain… and understood the busy night. we all loved our food except my mom’s rice was cold when we received her plate but overall it was a nice experience and we loved the decor. Our waitress was very kind.

This place is an absolute gym! Seen it many times driving by went in Wilmington and decided to have dinner tonight and we had a relaxing enjoyable meal. That was delicious!
The dinner crowd was busy cars constantly rolling in the parking lot and even though we were quoted about 25 to 45 minutes wait time for patio seating we ended up being seated within the half hour. We spent that time at the bar sipping on custom Created Indo Asian While walking through the back patio garden, which was transformative! A little slice of Thailand. We tried several different dishes, including the Tom Ka soup, Pad Thai, Pad ka gao and a couple of different wraps. Everything was delicious. The prices were fair. The staff were super friendly our waitress Kaitlyn was friendly antenna and efficient we will definitely be going back here again. If you’re in Wilmington and like Thai food check this place out.

My aunt introduced me to this delightful restaurant. It was like a walk through the Orient! And the food was a culinary dining experience- delicious and presentation was magical.

Had heard people talk about this place for a while and finally tried it out for lunch. The decor is somewhat dated and dark on the interior. The hostess and server were friendly and accommodating with a gluten free need and allergy. We ordered the Chicken with Cashews, Pineapple Rice, and one of the Curries. The menu was the same for lunch and dinner, so our portions were larger than a lunch serving. Everything was very good but the “mild” curry was a bit hotter than expected. Would definitely go back but would love to see them update the place.

Really chill vibe with fantastic food (thai fried rice and pad see ew were both delicious and large portions, veg egg roll was one of the best I’ve had). Our server Adam gave us the run down, had good recommendations and checked on us frequently. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

The atmosphere and service was fantastic!!! Our server was super fun and helpful, we bought a cake to celebrate and they kept it in back for us and brought it out at the end of the meal. While waiting to be seated I highly recommend exploring around the restaurant as there is so much to see. The food was amazing bit different than the Thai food we are familiar with, I wasn't wowed by it but it wasn't bad either. I would definitely come back and try something new.

While staying in New Bern to help my daughter with my granddaughters while my son-in-law is deployed, we decided to take a small weekend road trip to Wilmington. This restaurant has been on my daughter’s list for a while after seeing it all over social media, so we were excited to finally try it.
We arrived around 5 PM on November 15th. The outside was beautiful — I immediately started taking pictures and told my daughter she picked a great place for dinner. When we walked in, the hostess asked my daughter how many would be in our party while I was taking a picture with my 2-year-old granddaughter near the statue by the entrance. My daughter told her there were 2 adults, 1 high chair, and that we also had a stroller for my 4-month-old granddaughter.
The hostess looked over to a waitress and asked about seating. The waitress said they could seat us at a certain table once it opened (I don’t recall the number). Then a manager approached and asked what they were trying to figure out. The hostess explained the situation, and he responded with something along the lines of seating us at table 93 “so they’re out of the way.”
By the time I turned around, he was gone. I asked my daughter, “Did he really just say we need to be out of the way?” She confirmed that he did — as if our children were an inconvenience. We asked for his name, and we were told it was Oscar.
The hostess then guided us outside and around the building, only to seat us in what appeared to be the pickup side of the restaurant. This area had none of the atmosphere or decor of the actual dining room — no statues, no design elements, nothing that made it feel like part of the same establishment.
I looked at my daughter and said that while I knew she had really wanted to try this place, I could not eat somewhere that treats families this way. To imply that a high chair is an inconvenience, and that families should essentially be tucked away “out of sight,” is incredibly unwelcoming. I would strongly encourage parents who need a high chair to reconsider dining here.
Both the hostess and waitress apologized repeatedly, and we made it clear this was not their fault. The issue was entirely with the manager, Oscar. I do not understand how someone in a managerial position feels comfortable speaking like that out loud, let alone to guests. A higher level of professionalism is expected.
