My partner and I came from out of town to see some friends. We decided to stop by islands because it’s usually pretty good! The food was great, but the service of one of the employees was absolutely unacceptable. We each got the jerk chicken burrito, but in a bowl. I had asked for extra sauce, which they provided, but I had meant the other sauce that was on the burrito. It was my mistake, so I didn’t say anything. My husband ordered a burrito with steak and all the fixins. It was sooo bland. Not even the guacamole had flavor. I ordered 2 tacos with steak and that was awful too. I didn’t taste the cilantro dressing they put on them and mine was bland as well. Our food was cold. My kids always eat their tacos but didn’t want anything to do with them. Wish there was mild salsa but they had only hot, medium, salsa verde, and bean&corn. The chips tasted like taco season had been dumped...
my girlfriend and I decided to stop by Islands Fresh Mex Grill today for the first time. it's in our neighborhood. the food was great. we have a new place, now. we'll return. we recommend it.
