I have to give this location a 5 star. All other locations around town need to take notes on what they’re doing at this silver lake location! I have eaten at every islands location multiple times over the years and you can include this past year for this review as well for what is happening right now. I have run into either food not warm, hard rice, no flavor, bad chips, not enough beans or rice and even carelessness in making tacos.

my girlfriend and I decided to stop by Islands Fresh Mex Grill today for the first time. it's in our neighborhood. the food was great. we have a new place, now. we'll return. we recommend it.

We stumbled upon this gem while heading to the Cotton Exchange. Nice menu but what really impressed me was the “Subway like” taco ordering system. Pick your protein, add some rice, black beans, jalapeño, etc., etc.All fresh ingredients. Oh, my wife’s islander salad bowl was enough for two. I highly recommend you give it a go.
