Good pizza and specials. Was disappointed with the linguine and clams last time I was there, portion was very small, $16. Told the waitress, she could have cared less.

I'll go back, maybe it was a bad day.

First time visiting with my two toddlers and was blown away! We got Three Cheese Chicken, Chicken Marsala, Kids pizza and Kids Alfredo. Everything was delicious!!!!

Hands down best Alfredo we’ve ever had!! We will definitely be making the drive to Wilmington just for the Alfredo.

Great Italian restaurant!! Pizza is delicious! The threee cheese chicken was the absolute best! Very generous portions and the staff is wonderful! Definitely will go back!

My husband and I came in a few days ago for lunch and our server Jessica was amazing to say the least! We haven’t been back in about 2 months due to a bad experience with the server and a food situation and how it all was handled (not the first bad one we’ve been sat with before) But I need this girl’s schedule! She made this place much more enjoyable and the food definitely got better. She was very funny and attentive. And she was running around waiting on tables inside and out but you would never know! I’m glad they got some better ones in there. This one actually told us the specials, gave suggestions, kept our drinks full and the table next to us even said she’s the best one they had yet! Full place and didn’t miss a beat!
Our food was delicious and the presentation was definitely better. My husband ate the chicken parm and I tried the soup (her suggestion) and had the eggplant. So good!
Definitely will be back! Especially when whoever cooked and our server is there!

October 2025 Update: I returned three times after my original review, with mixed results. The first time was early evening on a Sunday. No one was dining outside. The music was extremely loud (as in 'I can't even think straight' loud). I asked the waitress if the volume could be turned down slightly. Without hesitation, she said there was no volume control (different result than several of my prior visits). I thanked her, told her to have a nice evening, and got up to leave. She asked why I didn't just order & take it home.
The second visit? The music was louder than MY personal preference but entirely tolerable. I love the complementary loaf of chewy bread so answered 'yes' when offered. It was 'only' half a loaf, which as a solo diner, made perfect sense...except it was too tough to eat. I got my standard lasagna, which tasted as good as always, but was a noticeably smaller portion than what I've had in the past. I know it's not cut to exact specifications, but it looked to be probably 20-25% smaller.
I just had my third visit earlier this afternoon. I got spaghetti and meatballs (with fettuccine). No bread was offered. The meatballs were excellent. The pasta was gummy/mushy. I mentioned it when they brought the check. When they came back with my bill, the staff said they notified the kitchen about my pasta, and the response was an apology. So in summary, I spent $12 for two meatballs and about 8-10 pieces of fettuccine.
I love Italian food, supporting small business, dining outside, and being able to walk to where I'm going to shop/eat. However, I think we're past the point of second chances. At least I have some good memories from the first 15-20 visits.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Alas, I may not return after tonight. I typically walk there & either dine alone or with a friend. I was alone tonight. Walked in & let the person at the counter know that I wished to dine outside, and was acknowledged. It was later in the evening, so not the height of the dinner crowd. I waited almost 20 minutes & realized it would be dark before I finished, so I walked back inside. The person at the counter was engrossed in their cell phone & when I said I couldn't wait any longer, they gave me a confused look as though they had no idea what I was talking about, so I repeated that I couldn't wait any longer & that they did not need to send anyone outside to take my order. Very disappointing, as I usually dine there at least once every week or two.

Best pizza I've had in the area. Can't beat their Monday night special, large pizza with 3 toppings for 18.99. 2nd time we've had pizza, next time we're gonna try meals that look awesome when they bring it out for others.

A Mixed Experience at Italian Bistro

I recently visited Italian Bistro with high hopes for a delicious Italian meal. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. The salad was a letdown - the greens weren't fresh, and the croutons lacked crunch. The ravioli was also disappointing, with a very bland flavor profile.

However, the service was absolutely fantastic! Our server was not only knowledgeable and attentive, but she was also stunningly beautiful - think supermodel gorgeous! Her personality shone through in her warm smile and exceptional service. I was so taken with her that I would almost forgive a multitude of culinary sins just to see her again.

If Italian Bistro can work on elevating their food quality to match their exceptional service, I'd be happy to give them a higher rating. Until then, I'll be back for the server's smile alone!

I don’t know what Jerrys deal is but I’ve had amazing service just about everytime I’ve come in to eat or ordered out. Especially if I see Brezie cooking up the feasts! 100/5 stars easy.

Ordered the lasagna on doordash,it was ok but not anything worth the price.Didnt get anything with it,no garlic bread/toast or anything. Not even a napkin or two.Was my first time ordering from there and will definitely be my last.

Excellent service and food. We were all very happy with our meals. I ordered the Gabriella and it was outstanding! It's a large portion and what I couldn't finish is pictured here!
