Italian Bistro - Monkey Junction

First time my husband and I had ever eaten here and it was delicious and the prices were good. The staff were amazing especially when we accidentally dropped our leftover spaghetti and meatballs. They gave us a brand new one on the house even though they didn't have too and we didn't ask. We will definitely be going back and I recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered delivery twice and both times my order was incorrect.

I met a friend at the MJ location. Anthony was our server and was very attentive and helpful. I had a glass of the red blend and it was delicious. Upon Anthony's guidance, I had the Arabaratti with angel hair. The sausage is made in house, spicy and wonderful. My friend had spaghetti and meatballs and was able to substitute gluten free pasta. it was a great experience and highly recommend.

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The lunch menu offered a nice choice of half a sandwich, and a choice of side salad, Mac and cheese or soup. I got the chicken caprese sandwich which was a decent size and the Mac and cheese. I expected a small bowl but got a full size bowl. It was a lot and had to take some home. The left over could be a side for dinner honestly there was a lot left. The music was my favorite part. Good songs, and a little sing a long broke out due to a friendly musician sitting across from us and the table next to us singing. I can't promise the same experience for anyone else though. Just try it out the menu was good with authentic New Yorkers cooking authentic Italian food.

Chicken Alfredo was fantastic!

I've been here twice now, had pizza the first time, then tried the lasagna last night and OMG. The best lasagna I've ever had from a restaurant. Huge portion, it's definitely big enough to share and for under 20 bucks. The bread basket they give you is absolutely delicious with a dish of the flavored dipping oil. Just be careful to not eat alot cause it makes it hard to find room for when your meal comes. Service is great. Keep in mind they only have 7 tables. My advice is get there early, we got there at 5:30 and within 5 minutes they had a wait. But let me tell you the wait is worth it. My husband got the chicken francaise. Ate every bit. Our bill was under 50 dollars too, and that included a soft drink and a beer. We will be back frequently.

First time trying this place. Ordered eggplant parm, side of Italian sausage and cheesecake. Was not impressed at all. Eggplant was thin, dry and hard, not fresh. Sausage was cut into rounds, very tough and no sauce, pasta was not fresh made. Cheesecake tasted store bought. Very disappointing, don’t know if I’ll try again. Do better guys!

We live right near this new restaurant and were excited to try it. We did hear from 2 of our neighbors that they felt ill (stomach issues) after their pizza. We assumed it was just a coincidence so we ordered one last night. It tasted very good but within 2 hours both of us were on the toilet. Something in the pizza is not right. We messaged the restaurant and were assured MSG is not used. This is definitely something that would cause the issues we all experienced. We’d love to try some Italian dishes but are very reluctant to do so.

Exceptional service. I ordered a large cheese for pick up. Upon arriving I was informed my pizza was a little "over done". They were just in the process of remaking it, which wasn't necessary but it spoke volumes. I will most definitely be coming back. Thank you for good food.
