Not really a clean establishment and definitely not authentic. I was really let down by the Jamaican beef patty which was store bought and not made in store. I definitely expected much better tasting food!

The Jerk Chicken isn't good anymore. This used to be my favorite spot. The Jerk taste like water downed BBQ sauce! And.......to add insult to injury, the serving sizes are extremely small compared to what they used to be. I'm so disappointed because the food used to be awesome. They need to go back to old recipes!

Jamrock Sports Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in Wilmington, NC! ? Ample free parking, everything made from scratch in-house, and the brown chicken with cabbage, beans, and rice was absolutely phenomenal! ? ? The owner's hands-on approach ensures consistency and top-notch flavors. Authentic Jamaican vibes, friendly staff, and downright delicious food. The brown stew chicken has to be my favorite since I can no longer do spicy. The wife loves this place.
My fiancé and I love coming to eat here! The food is so fresh and authentic! We have never gotten a bad dish. My favorite is the Caribbean fried chicken and plantains!

Food was no good. The rice is soggy and the oxtail has no flavor. Jamaican rice should be Shelly and oxtail needs to be seasoned. On a good note the oxtail was tender but that all I can say about it. The Spanish guy at the front is really nice but I would not recommend this food. Basically three the rice in the

Hours as of July 2023 they close at 7pm. We came in right at closing, and they were more than happy to take care of us. The food is good, legit good Caribbean full of flavor and spice. Giving you that touch of sweat so you know it's good jerk chicken. The customer who came in as we were finishing asked if they were still open, sorta kinda was the answer... just like in Jamaica. The guy who took care of us asked us about our day and was super kind and helpful, making sure we were happy and greeted us with a big smile despite it being the end of a very busy day for them. A legit hole in the wall place you'd easily miss, and you'd miss out if you didn't pop in.

Honestly the food tased like a white boy made it. Beef patty were rock hard as if they were left out for a day. J*** chicken tasted like BBQ chicken, tasted no j*** seasoning. About the only think that tasted good was the cabbage and. Idk where you get your 4.5 stars but first and last time spending my $30 here.
