Really hip yet classy...it was a special find on a special street up and coming with funkiness...my only suggestion would be longer hours and to use the space in afternoon and evening for special events because it is so cool!

Probably the cleanest restaurant we've been in. The waffle was tasty and my husband was able to order an egg and toast not on the menu. Definitely recommend this little cafe.

My family was tired, grumpy, and hungry since all the beach restaurants were crowded on Saturday morning. We took a chance and drove to Wilmington for brunch. The location is easy to find, the building is quaint, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is amazing, and the waiter, Wayne, is a true professional. His food suggestions were delicious and he seemed to know exactly how to please. We ordered the Country Benedict, Avocado Toast with poached egg, the Grown-up Grilled Cheese, and Smoked Salmon Benedict, gazpacho, mimosas, and key lime dessert. Thanks to the chef for a delicious meal. We look forward to returning in a few weeks.

Absolutely horrendous service. I have never in my life been so utterly disappointed by a restaurant in my life. Came here with my friends and girlfriend for breakfast. The food was mediocre at best, overpriced for the portions, and took a while to come out. The overall issue with our experience was our server. He was a tattooed young adult with a man-bun and glasses. He hardly visited our table, refilled only one drink during our visit, was monotone, and rude-spoken. Our party was very disappointed and decided to tip relatively low. Apparently, he was not pleased by this and followed our party out to state “I don’t work for free!” Not super surprising considering he didn’t work very well at all. I am VERY disappointed. I understand why they call this place jester’s, because it’s a joke.

Horrible customer service. Waiter slammed my receipt in my face and demanded tip and followed me and my friends out side to say “i dont work for free so when you go out you have to be adults and pay tip” food took forever and service took forever. He had a man bun and tattoos and wore glasses hopefully the owner sees this and does something about this employee

The waiter was the most racist, and insufferable throughout our visit. Waiter was rude and DEMANDED a tip, literally ran after us to yell at our party while we were outside. Though he was literally tipped. He was incredibly rude to the Mexicans and African Americans of our group, and shouted at them. Would not recommend going if you are also a person of color.

The best little come as your are quaint little cafe where it feels like you are seen as a human, great music, amazing staff and delicious from your best friend whose a chefs kitchen when the restaurant is closed feel. Quirky downtown neighborhood 3 minutes from sites.

Jess let us in last minute, so kind and welcoming and we found out hands down the BEST breakfast... the Le Monsieur, pancakes, grits, Mimosa...we'll be back!

Yummy food served in a cute, converted cottage. Warm vibe!

Nice place but the waiter or manager I really don't know, had a bit of an attitude and food wasn't great, plus it took forever, when you are ready to pay make sure you go up and ask for the check if not you'll be waiting forever since they think you should know their procedures and even though other people had their checks at their table. Coffee is terrible so go with the idea you'll need to find a coffee place afterwards, they don't allow outside drinks.

~ Wayne was FABULOUS!! He was the best at offering details of the food, and more than delightful!! Also, he remembered Trish’s birthday…with every greeting! BUT….the food was AMAZING!!! Get the black eyed pea salad, for real!! The asparagus and Gouda quiche was mouth watering delish!! We had peach mimosas that were poured beautifully and tasted divine! Club sandwich and Le Monsiuer hit the spot. The grilled chicken salad…was yummy, but the white vinaigrette dressing took us out!! Every. Single. Thing. Was. Perfect!!!! … don’t pass by this little gem, we are so so SO glad that Wiz led us there!! ~

The food is great but sadly I can’t say the same for customer service. I came in with 4 people and we split the check 2 and 2 after we were walking out the waiter comes outside and tells us that our tip was Unacceptable. This threw me off because we just had a conversation with him about our ages and I thought it was pretty clear we were collage students. We tipped him the best we could. And I truly cannot believe the treatment we received especially because i have had a completely different experience the other times and won’t be coming back sadly.
