came in for breakfast on Easter morning around 11:00 with friends. we were 30 minutes late. darn. so we had lunch instead. very tasty and we all enjoyed our meals. We will go earlier next time.two of us had the Turkey and dressing , i had the hamburger steak and mash potatoes with gravy and the other in our party had Fried shrimp. all those meals were delicious. Way to go! I went in on Easter today as I had surgery and couldn't make it to the family affair. They said they were switching from breakfast to lunch so I went to Harris Teeter next door to get staples. I was the 1st in line and the line grew several feet long as it was Easter.i had ham, grilled mushrooms, green beans, Lima brands, fried okra and was only charged for a meat and 2 sides. It was so delicious! I just finished plate 2 in the middle of the night and wish I had gotten more!! Way to go!!

I truly do not know what has happened to K&W in the recent years. I just ate there and got 4 items that is literally almost impossible to screw up, chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy and a piece of chocolate pie. Everything was absolutely horrible from the food to the service to the atmosphere I will start with the food, the chicken tenders tasted like they had been left out since yesterday, hard as a brick and way to overcooked with zero flavor, the Mac and cheese tasted like there was Mac but no cheese, same for the mashed potatoes that literally had no taste or a hint of anything added they literally tasted like water and potatoes, and finally the chocolate pie I believe they put the salt and seasoning in it instead I nearly threw up it was so disgusting. The service was just as horrible, only 2 people working the entire line during rush lunch hour and you had to leave a tip before you are even served. Originally I left 25% until my waitress never even came by to check if I needed anything, lastly the atmosphere it smelt terrible in there like old cigarettes mixed with Jovan musk ,the carpet was dirty and so was the booths and on top of all that it was over $20 to literally eat a plate full of cardboard. Eat at K&W in Wilmington at your own risk I will never be back there.

Staff was rude as hell and had attitude to me. Then found hair all in my food waitress came back with the money for just the price of the dish didn't get no manager like requested. The mash potatoes were cold and lumpy and the chocolate pie tasted like spoiled milk. The guest that was with me there good was cold and nasty as well. Will never ever ever return. Don't waste your time or money here.

I have been going to K&W Cafeteria since I can remember. I went with my Mom starting when I was just out of the highchair. I have never been disappointed at the Fayetteville or Wilmington location. This afternoon was , certainly no exception. I needed a large 7 layer salad within 1 hour of calling the Wilmington location. Not only were they willing to help me but they made the salad in the time frame I needed it. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice, polite and accommodating. I'm so happy to have a restaurant that still truly cares about their customers. Keep up the amazing service that y'all offer every single day. K&W fan for life!!! Thank you so much.

Ate here with my family about 2.5 years ago we all ordered baked spaghetti it had a taste that tasted good when I was eating it but taste disgusts me to this also had the Mac and cheese which was horrible litterally no cheese flavor to it the taste of that also disgusts me to this day we all three had food poisoning later that night we assumed it was from the spaghetti I committed 17 times that and couldn’t keep anything including water the next day was close to going to hospital but didn’tI hope I’ll never go here again and if I do go here for a family dinner I will not order anythingBut besides getting food poisoning from food the staff and service are really nice I had been coming here pretty often for the last 10 years prior to this

2 very, very overfried chicken pieces. Dry to the bone. No gravy available they gave me turkey gravy. Cabbage very overcooked, soggy and tasted burnt. My wife had baked spaghetti that she said was extremely dry and all stick together and cold. She asked for. Garlic toast and. They had. No more.. 2 pieces of. Pie OK. Total $38.00 Never again
