Dirty, small, and food was bland and expensive for what you got. $35 for lunch for two with no drinks. No prices were listed on the very old tattered menus. The tortillas were rubbery and tough and odd tasting. A community sauce squeeze bottle was put on the table. I don't understand the positive reviews.

This place is a hidden gem. I've only gotten take away from here, but when I crave an authentic steak taco, this is the place I go to. Their enchiladas are also delicious. They have great customer service too.

Left the dentist office and saw this restaurant. Decided that is where I’m getting my lunch. Walked in and was greeted by a lady that was polite and she spoke English which was even better. I ordered the Steak Torta to go. Took about 10-12 minutes. When I got back to work I Kilt that sandwich because it was so FIRE! I am definitely coming back to try other dishes.

10 years ago this was my favorite restaurant. Mom was in the back cooking and son was serving. You had to phone your order in before you arrived to avoid a long wait while she roasted the chilies, cleaned and stuffed them and battered and fried them.Today nothing is cooked fresh except maybe the tortilla. The meat comes from a bag - frozen. The veggies come from a bag - frozen. The meat and veggies are grilled until steaming and put on the plate next to the cold rice and beans which come from a bag and a can respectively. All the prices on the check were raised $3 from what was given on the menu.I'm so sorry. I guess the pirate life mentality has gotten to even my favorite restaurant. "Take what you can, give nothing back."

Tostadas were absolutely amazing and you get a good amount for the price. The quesadillas are a great size for the price too. The customer service was good. They were patient and answered any questions we had! We are definitely going back!!

OMG peeps, this place is da bomb! AUTHENTIC Hispanic food, and cooked to freakin perfection. Hubby had the Mojarra (tilapia) which is flash fried Whole & the fillets just flaked off. Steamy and deeeeee-lish. I had a beef empanada, which was hand made FREEESH! And not sloppy joebeef folks, strips of asada....holy cow yum. Went back a 2nd time & STILL amazeballs - and pleasantly not the typical next-day 'stuff' after this type of food. This time had a chicken Empanada (aka. Quesadilla Frita as I learned this trip) and hubby had the same fish -- amazing food & fantastic service!!!! FYI, when you walk in, don't let the simple surroundings fool you - this is incredible food here folks! If there is anything on the menu you don't 'get' just ask, both girls at the counter when we went spoke excellent English.

My wife and I went there today and everything was amazing. The women working there were super kind. You can taste the love that oozes out of this every plate that comes out of this home feeling kitchen. We have found a new favorite restaurant and been living across the street from this outta sight gem for six years.
