First of all, I wanna say that our server Anna was fantastic and the food was good too. My only problem was that the manager was a complete bag. He asked the tables around us how they were doing and how their food was and completely ignored our table. I will not be dropping another couple hundred a week here dining with my family until the manager is gone or has some customer service training. Maybe Anna can teach him how to treat the customers.

Fantastic margaritas! Food was good, we had chimichangas, burritos and fish tacos and all were large portions and tasty. Doesn’t look like much from outside but it was a nice place inside. Fun dinner for a hungry family.

It’s been several years since we ate here, what difference a few years makes! Downhill would be putting it mildly. Strange odor in dining room, cleaning fluids and mildew. The server was courteous but not familiar with common Mexican dishes, labor shortage, I get it. Food was on par with Golden Corral, or any other place that serves pre made re-heated preservative filled garbage. Wasted lunch (and calories)

Love this place. Fantastic feel and vibe. Had the chicken enchiladas. Moist tender with great flavor. One of the best I ever had. Great attentive but low key service. Really enjoyed the experience.

I absolutely loved this place! There is plenty of seating and the bar is so colorful...I loved the decor (I need to find those blue tiles!), not to mention all of the salsas to choose from! The service and food quality are outstanding, too--especially the bikini shrimp! I am going back today to purchase one of their tank tops as a souvenir.

We discovered this place last year driving down Oleander Drive. It is a small spot, but the food was delicious. It's now part of the restaurants we frequent when we're in town as we like to keep things local versus chain. Our favorites are the nachos (this can easily be 1 person's meal) and the tacos. Also, if you have a gluten allergy, they have a dedicated fryer and will accommodate! The restaurant is small so if you go during peak meal times (especially dinner) there is a wait which is typically outside. You can order drinks from the bar and drink while you're waiting.

Great service from Ann-W. She was exceptional and very nice! This was the first time we have been to this location. The food was great, with great portion size. Salsa and chips always fresh and delicious. Thanks again for the great service.

In the area on vacation. Was recommended by a gluten free group I’m in. Waitress was great with my gluten allergy. Most anything can be made with corn tortillas. The guacamole was fantastic and is made fresh every day. Hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Will visit again if we come back to the area.

We were only in Wilmington for an overnight stop but the receptionist at the hotel highly recommended this place and we were so glad we went! The food was absolutely delicious! Very fresh, beautiful presentation. The salsa and chips were really good and fresh as well. We will definitely go back when in the Wilmington area! In fact if we lived there, this place would be a weekly stop!

I was craving some Mexican and thought, I haven’t been to k38 in awhile (for a reason) so I decided to try it again, because normally the food is always a hit or miss. Not only was my enchilada $14.50, but the portions were absurd, it was cold and effortless. Ever since Josh passed this place has never and will never be the same. Staff is awful, food is overpriced and disgusting and now turning everything corporate? Good job ruining the one, good staple of Wilmington.

Best take on Mexican anywhere. Fabulous street corn. Tacos are fresh and very yummy. Asked the servers opinion on a margarita and she was honest. Suggested the house rita with just some added spice and it was perfect. Love their salsa.

My wife and I stopped into this K-38 Baja Grill for lunch while doing some Saturday shopping. We were seated pretty quickly even though it was fairly busy. All the employees wore masks as did our server Victoria...Nice to see. Plus she was friendly, polite and very attentive. The tables were all socially distanced and it made you feel that the restaurant took the CDC guidelines seriously. We started off with their Chips and excellent Salsa....My wife ordered the Nutri Mex Burrito and I had the Baja Fish Tacos (grilled ) with a side of black beans. Both were well prepared and tasty. All in all we both enjoyed this visit to the K-38 Baja Grill.

DH and I had been here several years ago and had good memories, so we decided to try it again. Incredible food combined with excellent service. And maybe the best margarita I have ever had, and I have had a few. I got the vegerita bowl, basically a salad with avocado, black beans, and corn. And a great lime cilantro dressing. It looked like a work of art and tasted better. Husband's fajita was delicious and well presented. The chips were warm and the salsa was hot Our waitress was friendly and professional. You can bet it we will not wait years for our next visit.
