I was down in Wilmington for a wedding, and a little banged up the morning afterwards. Being a foodie from the Philly metro area, there was nothing I needed more than a solid Deli. That Montauk saved me! I call that sandwich a Jeter from where I’m from. The bacon egg and cheese was solid too. Their bread/bagels are the real deal. A good deli nearby is absolutely essential. Thank you.

I had been dying to try this place!!!! I wish I hadn't, should've went to McDonald's!!! The service really lacked any kind of personality!! Paid $27 for 2 sandwiches and bag of chips and a soda!! My girlfriend ate only half of her Reuben and I took one bite of a sausage,egg, and cheese(how do you mess up a breakfast sandwich)and threw it in the garbage!!!! I have dogs and I would not feed that to them!!!!

So, I really wanted this to be the deli I have been searching for in this area, but it did not live up to the hype. Firstly, the atmosphere is perfect, no issues at all. The staff were friendly, helpful, and they definitely kept the place tidy. However, sandwiches are excessively overpriced for their size (I believe a small roll is the same price as a hero), and the bread is extremely lackluster. For this area, bread is usually pretty bad in delis, but honestly, walmart rolls are better quality than the ones here. The meat is high quality, I believe Boars Head, but the bread is such a detraction, and the portion was very small for the price. I was surprised they had knish on the menu, but when it came out soggy and split in half weirdly, it made me wish they hadn’t offered it at all. In total, two sandwiches, two bags of chips, two drinks and a knish, costs about $38. You could get the same items, better quality and a lot bigger, in NY/NJ for the same price or cheaper.

Ordered food 1st time trying... AMAZING! The rueben is top 2 reubens I've ever had. I had it delivered via UE, it was still very hot & wrapped up perfectly.

Food was okay my sandwich was smushed flat like it was ran over.. Service seemed to have an attitude about everything. Seemed very annoyed. Second time here, don’t think I’ll be coming back.

They microwaved the Taylor ham. Pork roll should be fried, never microwaved. Horrorble.

If you're looking for authentic, no-nonsense service and a great sandwich, this is definitely the spot. The staff may come off as brusque, likely reflecting their roots from less accommodating parts of the state, but the sandwich is definitely worth it.

I never leave reviews but seriously, this is a sorry excuse of a sandwich shoppe. Service is mid, lots of wasted space on the inside, and 12-13$ on a sad Rueben. Save your money and go anywhere else. Don’t fall for the gimmick of the stores name. Long Island would be ashamed of its improper use of name.
