Love Lydia Bakery is overpriced (paid $19 for two mini muffins and two medium sized coffees). The service was also awful. Waited over 15 minutes for two coffees and the mini muffins. The staff saw us waiting outside in 90 degree heat with a dog and prioritized people that were ordering food. They didn’t even start on my coffee until 13 minutes into our wait.Wouldn’t recommend to anyone that’s looking for a decent cup of coffee or breakfast.
Amazing food, coffee and people! My favorite Saturday morning spot in Wilmington.
There is a reason the word "love" is in the name of this business. It truly is a gesture of love. Love, Lydia Bakery & Cafe is filled with delicious food and baked goods and staffed by lovely people. It's a true Wilmington gem!
This bakery has everything you want in a local restaurant. Wonderful food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere.
I love Lydia Bakery. They were at coffee fest. delicious! Normally they are closed on my way to work. but now I can call in a pick up and leave my house at 7:30am
Rich, fudgy brownies. Coffee cake so moist! Incredible flavor. Seriously delicious baked goods! You will LOVE Love, Lydia! I certainly did!
The food is really good but priced 50% above what it's worth. The cold brew coffee is frequently stored in plastic containers that once stored chai tea and you can taste it.
Wonderful baked goods with lots of variety; coffee is great; and they have local panacea kombucha on tap which is wonderful!
So I stopped here for breakfast and it was such a delights. A wonderful warm welcome and comfortable atmosphere. My berry lavender latte and orange blossom cinnamon bun were to die for! I live 45 minutes away and would definitely make the commute again.
We love their avocado toast! Sure, we can make it at home, but doesn't quite taste as good! My hubby lives the latte and I always order the matcha lemonade.

My husband and I decided today was the day to try all the coffee shops in town we haven't tried yet despite living here. So I hereby award Love Lydia the best coffee and pastries!! Our last stop and most impressed! Dig the vibe, dig the staff, dig the food and beverage thanks guys!! I highly recommend it :D
Enjoyed a gluten free banana bread cake with chamomile tea. Really enjoyed. Thanks.
Great coffee, food and a lovely staff. A coffee shop worth going out of the way to try.
Absolutely a fantastic little cafe! What a charming place and staff! The avocado toast is the best, and their matcha tea lemonade is delicious. We will be back again and again!
Coffee was ok and they dont have much food, didn't have what Facebook stated...no breakfast tacos, no gouda, no pecan rolls, I wasn't impressed
