I had an incredible experience at Manna. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out in the best way. The staff brought so much energy and personality to the table, and every spiel they gave about the dishes and drinks was actually helpful instead of the usual scripted stuff. They were attentive the entire night, checked in at the right times, and made the whole dinner feel intentional.
The food itself was impressive. I ordered the steak and fries, and it came out cooked perfectly with a rich, glossy sauce that paired really well with the crispy, seasoned fries. You can tell they take the time to get the details right. The kale dish had a great mix of textures with the sesame and the pickled onions, and the sauce along the plate added a ton of flavor without being heavy.
Dessert was one of the highlights. The chocolate pot de crème and the warm fruit crumble both tasted like something from a higher-end spot without feeling pretentious. Rich, balanced, and a great way to end the meal.
The cocktails and appetizers are where Manna really shines. Everything we tried felt carefully put together and genuinely worth the price. Some entrées are a little expensive for what they are, but the apps, the drinks, and the overall experience make it more than worth the visit.
The combination of great service, thoughtful food, and a relaxing atmosphere makes this place an easy recommendation. If you’re going for the first time, definitely start with a couple appetizers and a cocktail—you won’t miss.

Second time dining at Manna. 5+ stars. Excellent service, very personable and polite staff and great ambience. The food….. the food is incredible. The 16oz ribeye was the tastiest piece of beef my wife and I have ever eaten, and the duck fat fries it comes with are perfection. We shared 3 appetizers. All 3 were amazing, but the mushroom (run forage, run) was the best thing that we have ever eaten. Would consider going back just to get 6 orders of that. Will definitely be going back.

We recently celebrated a birthday with 8 friends in our party and the attention to detail was unrivaled. After a spontaneous recommendation from a friendly stranger on the streets of Wilmington, Manna completely exceeded every expectation. Despite arriving close to closing time, we were greeted with genuine warmth and smiles, with absolutely no sense of being rushed. The restaurant itself is charming and sultry, with décor that sets a perfect, intimate mood.
The staff went above and beyond in every way. They were generous with conversation, taking the time to explain menu options and suggest pairings. Both the hostess and our server offered effusive, personal compliments about how much they enjoyed interacting with us as a couple, making the experience feel incredibly personal. To top it off, the bartender even provided tableside service! Another staff member kindly offered to take photos of us, adding a thoughtful, memorable touch.
Our meals were creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Manna was the perfect way to cap off a romantic stroll through downtown Wilmington, allowing us to fully soak in the city’s charm. We left already planning our next visit. This place is a true gem!

My friend had a Bibimbap style eggplant dish and then ordered the shrimp after she tasted mine. Both were incredible. Leading up to the event, they were responsive over email and happy to do in person walk throughs to make sure every detail was perfect. You could tell how much they genuinely cared about creating a great evening for us, which made the entire planning process so easy and enjoyable. I reached out to many establishments downtown before choosing Manna, and their pricing was by far the fairest, especially considering that the quality of their food is well above most. They were one of the only venues that could comfortably accommodate both a sit down dinner and a welcome party, with a reasonable food and beverage minimum and only a modest rental fee. The day of the event, their team was professional and organized, handling everything seamlessly from music and slideshow setup to service. The food was truly exceptional, fresh, seasonal, and some of the best we have had anywhere in Wilmington.
I cannot say enough about how positive the entire experience was. It truly felt like the team cared as much about our event as we did.
