From the very first bite, the food was absolutely incredible. Every single dish brought a completely different flavor profile, which made the entire meal feel like a fun, delicious journey. Just when you thought you had a favorite, the next bite surprised you in the best possible way. Truly memorable. 🍽️✨
The service was the best all around. There was always someone nearby ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with such confidence that I genuinely enjoyed not having to make decisions — everything recommended was spot on. It made the whole evening feel relaxed, seamless, and special. 🙌
And then the moment that really set this place apart… as we were leaving, one of the owners personally walked us out to our Uber. Who does that anymore?! That level of hospitality is rare and shows how much they truly care about their guests’ experience from start to finish. 🚗💫

Manna has been a staple restaurant in my repertoire for years and I have celebrated many special occasions there, from graduating from UNCW to birthdays, celebrations of life, and some of the best date nights I have had in Wilmington.
Dining at Manna is not just a meal, it is an experience. Every detail is thoughtfully curated. Having lived in New York and California and experienced fine dining in much larger markets, I can confidently say Manna consistently performs at a level comparable to top-tier city restaurants, all while being rooted right here in Wilmington.
The service is impeccable. The flavor profiles are creative and refined without ever feeling forced. The presentation of each dish is a true art form. And the cocktails are, without question, the best in town.
I often tell people to order the oysters with pickled onion sorbet. They are one of the most memorable dishes on the menu, and calling them life changing does not feel like an exaggeration.
After more than 20 years of dining across this area, I can say we have some great options, but Manna simply does everything better.

Great food, great service, our waiter was very knowledgeable on the wine list, large wine list spanning your tastes and price, large portions perfectly presented, sort of loud. Oh and the local oysters on the half shell with apple mignonette pickled fennel sorbet and the beets with apple salad were a perfect complement to the entree and just as good. Wonderful food and evening.

There are not enough stars for the staff at Manna. The food, of course, is incredible. Everything is well thought out and delicious. However, the team at Manna creates an amazing experience and they quite literally saved my birthday celebration. On what was undoubtedly one of their busiest weekends of the year, they stepped up in a big way. Our hotel was way behind (2 hrs) on checking guests in and their delay was causing me great concern that we would miss our dinner reservation and thus miss my birthday dinner. Stephanie worked some magic and was able to push our reservation back just enough to allow my husband and I to finally get checked into our hotel and dressed up for dinner. It was such a small thing, but it made all the difference for me. Manna will forever be my go to venue for special occasions (and just because we can dinners as well).

What a great overall experience! John was our server and I can’t say enough about him. He was on it. This was a birthday dinner and I could not be happier with how I spent it. From point of entry, with help parking, to the very end where doors were opened for us, birthday wishes given, and winter coats donned by the hostesses. Food was excellent and I was very happy with everything. Absolutely would recommend.

Manna was as fresh and exciting last night as it was the first time I visited fifteen years ago. They aren’t fooling around when they say, “we take the cocktail very seriously.” Manna has always served exceptional cocktails, and my drink last night was no exception. I had the Beauregard—Southern Star Rye, Cappelletti, Cynar, and sweet vermouth—it did not disappoint. We shared two dishes at the bar. The first, “Run Forage, Run,” was a Jamie Oliver–esque wild mushroom bruschetta with incredible textures of crunch and creaminess that honestly made me want to cry. It was so good—I want to go back and eat it right now. We also had the warm kale salad, which struck exactly the right balance of zesty spice and cozy warmth. It suited me down to the ground. Can’t wait to go back!
