The service and quality here are absolutely exceptional. Barista, Claire, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and excited to share her knowledge with me. It can feel overwhelming to step into specialty coffee shops if you're not very familiar with them, but Maven has a welcoming atmosphere and inviting culture that implore patrons to explore all there is to love about coffee!
I had such a lovely experience. I can't remember the name of the latte I got-- I think it may have been dark chocolate cherry truffle-- and it was delicious. Claire was able to execute a beautiful froth with my iced drink despite it being dairy-free.
I had a lovely experience at Maven!

Amazing place to swing in and grab a nice coffee or matcha. The strawberry matcha is AMAZING. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Menu was explained to us so we knew what to get. Amazing service. Will be back.

This place charges $9.00 for a kids matcha that’s the size of a shot and disgustingly colored. Do better.

Maven Coffee is my go-to when I am looking for great coffee and an exciting coffee experience. Their hand crafted drinks are unique, delicious, and the process is so fun to watch!

The newest one I tried was the brown sugar and vanilla cloud, which includes brown sugar boba beans and a vanilla infused cloud on top of the cup! It was beautiful and delicious!

Hands down the best coffee in Wilmington! The owner is passionate not only about serving high quality espresso, but also building community. The specialty drinks are unique and well crafted. The staff is exceptionally kind and always willing to educate customers. I love the cherry truffle latte or just a simple cortado. Definitely check it out!

Tiny cups of coffee, I asked if he had organic milk and instead of just saying yes or no, he started telling us about how customers were complaining about the price and he had to “put his foot down” letting people know they’re paying for organic. I don’t need to know all of this. When we got our coffee without lids, we asked for lids and then they didn’t fit. He said “Let me know if those don’t fit so I can know if they put the wrong sizes out”. Stop complaining to your customers and take responsibility. Look at your lids and you should know which lids are for which cups if you own the place. Cafe Mata 10 minutes away also offers Organic Matcha from Japan, its owners are Japanese, and they actually give you a full size coffee cup with lids on them. Oh and all the products at Cafe Mata are organic.

Honestly the best coffee I’ve ever had, even my daughter liked it and she’s a matcha girl. I had the campfire, my aunt had the purple lady, and my daughter had the rose cloud matcha. Service was awesome with the barista being very knowledgeable and super helpful. Best place we could’ve gone for my birthday coffee!

Amazing little coffee shop - love the descriptions behind the coffees and flavorings. Iced mocha and vanilla lattes were so good, and great service!

+$1 for oat milk is a little absurd
super expensive and I was very disappointed with the bland taste of my latte. Tiny matcha was also almost $10.
