Mellow Mushroom Wilmington

We visited Mellow Mushroom in Wilmington after driving an RV from Houston, TX. We walked in as weary travelers and left as refreshed, highly-satisfied patrons. The staff was warm and inviting while Andy went that extra mile (no pun intended!). We felt like instant friends. He made exceptional recommendations from the menu by taking the time to ask about our likes and dislikes. He didn’t fail with a drink suggestion, either! Ha ha. Thank you, Andy, for turning our day right around!

Great place for pet friendly dining.

I was absolutely blown away with the service and food quality while the seating is tight, and you can hear conversations from 3 booths away. You're going to not mind once you get a taste of the pizza and cocktails.

They have gluten free pizza crust and great salads! Yum.

I was there for pizza because my family that lived here bragged about the place. The customer service was amazing. I had a drink while I waited. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a little strained. I guess some of the people there weren't pleased that I added a little "color " to the bar. I enjoyed my drink, picked up my pizza, and left. The pizza was amazing! All fresh ingredients and the pizza was made to order. It was definitely worth the money. To be clear, the only reason I gave 4 stars overall was because of my bar experience.

The pizza was hot and fresh the crust was very good as well. I order a half Greek Salad with a champagne vinaigrette dressing that was delicious and the buffalo wings are great as well.

Mellow Mushroom always has good pizza, and their pretzel bites and mocktails are great for keeping kids busy before the pizza arrives. However, I find them to be one of the more expensive pizza chains in our area.

Parking: It's easy to turn left into this parking lot on Oleander.

Kid-friendliness: Nice family-oriented atmosphere.

The pizza is really hot and flavorful! Really enjoy the Italian Sub on the menu too! Great place for family gatherings, something for everyone to enjoy!
