We visited Mellow Mushroom in Wilmington after driving an RV from Houston, TX. We walked in as weary travelers and left as refreshed, highly-satisfied patrons. The staff was warm and inviting while Andy went that extra mile (no pun intended!). We felt like instant friends. He made exceptional recommendations from the menu by taking the time to ask about our likes and dislikes. He didn’t fail with a drink suggestion, either! Ha ha. I was absolutely blown away with the service and food quality while the seating is tight, and you can hear conversations from 3 booths away. You're going to not mind once you get a taste of the pizza and cocktails.
I was there for pizza because my family that lived here bragged about the place. The customer service was amazing. I had a drink while I waited. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a little strained. I guess some of the people there weren't pleased that I added a little "color " to the bar. I enjoyed my drink, picked up my pizza, and left. The pizza was amazing!
