Wow! Came here on a whim Saturday night expecting a wait but was seated immediately. EVERYTHING was amazing. We started with the fried calamari (best one I’ve had) and enjoyed the ribeye and chicken forestiere for dinner. 10/10! Washed it down with a peach sangria

Definitely coming back again.

Food was great, but was not happy to be presented a bill with 3÷ credit card surcharge that was never disclosed. Shameful practice by the merchant - it's a cost of doing business, especially as a restaurant.

The menu we Googled about Michael's restaurant stated 9 dollars for cheese fries. It says it topped with shredded cheese. Wrong, I eat cheese fries enough to know the difference. First the price for the fries was 13 dollars, that was ok. When the fries was served the cheese looked like nachos cheese from a can with a smoked taste. They were so horrible my husband and I could not eat them. The asparagus my husband could not eat either. We did enjoy the prime rib sandwich. We did have to take off what was pureed red bell peppers from the sandwich but after that we enjoyed it. We will not be returning.

Nice easy, clean, casual dining. Affordably priced. Great location close to the Riverwalk. Food was excellent cooked to perfection and hot when delivered.

Waitress was good. We got the Po-Boys and the shrimp linguine.

The shrimp linguine- the sauce and shrimp tasted funny. Not in a good way.

The Po-Boy- we asked for no tomatoes and it came with it. No big deal, we just took it off. They put a mountain of slaw on it with the shrimp on top. Impossible to eat that way. I should of known that if they add anything besides what’s suppose to be on a Po-Boy, it’s not going to be good.

We didn’t finish our food and left hungry. The price of $76 for two plates and two drinks was not worth it and was upset I had to pay for terrible food.

The drinks were good 🤷🏽‍♂️

We got the scallops and the bone in ribeye. Both delicious. The scampi sauce on the scallops, amazing.
But The atmosphere. Yikes. Weird smell as you entered. For a $41 steak, you would definitely expect a fancier inside atmosphere. Both bathrooms were not necessarily clean with a random bucket in the men’s bathroom with all sorts of trash in it. To even get to the bathrooms you have to walk past mops and people’s old dishes and cups, trash cans. Also, they have a washer and dryer that you could see and hear as you go to the bathrooms. The kitchen staff was loud and at one point our waitress had to go get on someone in the kitchen for cursing loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. Lighting could have definitely been fancier and more intimate, Nirvana was playing (which we don’t mind) but didn’t really fit the fancy atmosphere the menu was going for.
Waitress was nice and helpful. Love that they get their seafood fresh.
If they got the atmosphere more cohesive and cleaned up, we would definitely be back.

Good food, calmari was really good, cheesburger and fries were good but not outstanding from other good burger places. I LOVE the fur-child friendliness and welcome. The server brings a bowl of water for the child. I had to drive from Calabash to Wilmington for a vet appointment and having dog friendly places is very nice when you have a long drive to and from.

All i can say that is positive - the drinks were good and the service was good. The tomatoes in my friends salad were rotten and there were roaches.. The champagne vinegarette tasted like straight vinegar. Genuinely disappointed for somewhere that serves $13 pub fries..

Dietary restrictions: Friend has a dairy allergy so she didnt have many options. Overheard another table having issues finding accommodations for a dairy allergy, as well as others. 0/10

We arrived around 3:30pm on a Thursday. Staff was very attentive and the food was great. The atmosphere was very pleasing. Pricing was affordable and not outrageous, being on the river was a big bonus as well. This will definitely be one of our favorite spots on the river.
