Gf and I decided to try something new and phone ordered a pie from Jay's.She picked it up and said the checkout person (doesn't appear that it was Jay) was a little grumpy but overall the pizza was very good.The 'large' size pie is HUGE.

Just discovered Jay's today and had to try a slice...well Jay is from New York! You get a fabulous NY style pizza which is what I was hoping for!! Having a party in 2 weeks and just found my place! Yay finally!!!

A friend has been telling me about them, finally tried last night. I got the best calzone I've ever had and tried my friends Stromboli which was amazing. I also got a Greek salad, they do not skimp with the toppings it was all...INCREDIBLE! :)

Read about dill pickle pizza & googled to see if we had any locally. Jays is THE SPOT for it! Had it made with a garlic ricotta base, amazing! Friendly staff, will be back again. They don’t have dine in seating but a short walk to sessions bottle shop you can sit down & enjoy it with a cold local beverage.

Extremely happy with the food ordered for a Super Bowl event! “Jay’s” didn’t skimp on ingredients and it was perfectly cooked. All the guests were truly pleased with the quality of ingredients and flavors. Would definitely use them for another event in the future!

The pizza was very greasy and it gave us all stomach aches. The cheese sticks were good but they didn’t give us any marinara to go with it. Even after I wrote in the comments I wanted it. I ordered online. It said it should arrive in an hour but it was over an hour and the pizza and cheese sticks weren’t even hot. I ordered from here because they delivered to my address. Never again will I order from here again.

The food at Jay's reminds me of my childhood. I grew up near Asheboro, NC, and we had the equivalent of Jay's called George's Carryout. In the early days, George waited on you, just as Jay took my order, shaped my crust, and adorned my pizza. This isn't just a pizza. It is a well thought out flavor experience. Service was stellar. The atmosphere is that of every carryout. A few chairs to wait 15 minutes for your pizza. A cooler with soft drinks and a single t.v. round out the atmospheric aspect. I ordered the Pesky Chicken and was told that it was going to be really good. Fresh basil pesto had just been made, and it was my base. Take a look at my photos ?. Want to talk about a real pie? Try Jays real Italian pizza not to mention he is a great guy. It's a little hidden gem go discover it for yourself right behind Zaxby's on 17th Street. Fantastic pizzas ( creative pizzas as well) at a good price.
