The turkey was very good. The Mac and cheese and cornbread were also good. The brisket and ribs were not very good, unfortunately. The service was excellent.

Mission BBQ catered our wedding and we could not be more pleased! Sarah and her team of catering staff were so thorough, easy to work with, and kind. The food was amazing, and our helpers the night of our event were so professional, efficient, and went above and beyond for us. The cost for everything was very reasonable, and Mission kindly donated several dishes and decorations for our event. The set-up for the tables was beautiful and even matched our colors. Sarah took the time to come out and visit several times to nail down all the details. Our catering consultation was so easy and we loved sampling the entire menu. We highly recommend them to anyone considering their catering services. Thank you!
Love the place really, but I’m mad enough this veteran day they had no brisket left at 5 pm for veterans who work all bleeping day. Wasn’t even offered a substitute in place of the free brisket sandwich. I’m really salty right now and contemplating not going back for a loonnnggg while

We googled Best BBQ in the area and this place came up first so we gave it a try. We’re from Arkansas so no strangers to good BBQ and Mission didn’t disappoint!!! Outstanding flavors all around. We were greeted by a very polite young man who took us through the menu so we could order a little bit of different meats and sides. We even got “samples” to try first. We got the 3 meat combo and split everything. My husband isn’t a fan of Collards so I got my own and they were delicious as was the coleslaw and French fries. The sliced Brisket had a nice smoky flavor served without sauce so you can add your choice at your table. There are 6 different kinds to choose from. The Baby Back Ribs were also amazing. Overall a great choice for the best BBQ in the Wilmington area. Don’t miss out!!
