I enjoy grabbing a drink and something to eat at the bar. My last visit was disappointing - steak was cold but fries were hot - classic kitchen mistake and its easy to get right. Its a lot of money to have a disappointing meal. Manager half tried to make it right but you cant reheat a steak without over cooking it, no offer to compensate. Next time I will probably end up at Trublue to be honest

Origins is my favorite restaurant in the area, such a beautifully designed restaurant that is visually appealing and flawless in execution of food and service. Would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a great night out!

This place is absolutely amazing; the service is overly welcoming, the atmosphere is calming and beautiful, and the place was clean! However, the food was pretty salty. The pastas (yes plural) and a steak were perfectly prepared to a tee, but I felt as if though the chef was a salt connoisseur or wanted to spike my blood pressure. Anyway, this doesn’t take away that many points from my review; this place still remains to be awesome!! I’m not a big fan of salt anymore but I still found the food great!!

Was very disappointed. Started with the water bottle having a spot of mold on the bottom. Was replaced when pointed out. Appetizers - Oysters were good, shrimp just ok and tuna tartar ok. Caesar salad was the bottom third of the head and not really edible. Salad was replaced. Lobster Bisque was good. 2 of 3 meals were awful. Scallops good. Braised short ribs mushy and pockets of salt that was absolutely brutal. The flounder was completely mushy and absolutely inedible. The waiter was just going through the motions. One of the managers was new there, yet an experienced restaurant manager and very helpful and understanding; as she understood what we were going through. In the end they adjusted the bill by two entrees as they should have. We have been semi regular customers for a couple of years. I would not go back if the manager had not shown appropriate concern. If our next experience is as bad as this last one, I won’t come back until I hear of a real change.

From the ambience to the service and food., it was all incredibly delightful and delicious. The Braised Short Rib was exquisite and so rich, to have the Tuna Tataki and Saffron Muscles heighten the meal. I also suggest not skipping on dessert, it’s both playful and delicious.

The food was wonderful but the service was absolutely terrible. Our drinks were taken with zero offer of a refill halfway through our meal. We sat with empty plates for 15 minutes as we watched our server reset all the tables around us with zero acknowledgement. We ordered desserts and our server literally tossed our silverware in front of us then walked away without a word. After receiving dessert my partner went to the bathroom and even though we both had plates full of food the server came dropped off the check and asked if my partner needed a box while I had food in my mouth and when I nodded he walked away not asking if I’d need a box for any of my food. The server then came back and threw the Box on the table without saying a single word to me and walked away (this all happened before my partner had even come back to the table). I came in for a special celebration and left feeling terrible, I have never been served in such a blatantly rude way. We had zero ticket modifications, ordered expensive meals, were polite, and did not overstay our welcome. The service was so poor that although enjoying the food I don’t think I ever want to go back.

This Restaurant is by far the best I've eaten at the 8 years I've lived in Wilmington. The filet with the red wine sauce was out of this world. Then, the dessert 🍨 butterscotch bread pudding with ice cream made me feel like I had died and woke up in heaven. If you haven't tried this place, save your pennies and go treat yourself. Make your reservation and thank me later.

I really enjoyed the experience here, the service and sommelier was great. She took her time to explain her favorite wines from Italy and even wrote me a list of recommendations. The food was great, not amazing, but the atmosphere and service easily made up for any shortcomings.
