The best place in Wilmington for wine, craft beer, and a laidback hangout. Great rotating selections and the staff is always so kind, friendly, and good at what they do!
Special shout outs to Rex, Chris, Taylor, & Julia in particular for their incredible service to me and for consistently being amazing humans. Highly recommend.

Palate Bottle Shop is a go-to spot for a great selection of wine, craft beer, and a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're stopping in for a drink on their patio or picking up a bottle to take home, the variety and quality never disappoint!
They don't serve food, but the wine and beer selections are great! You can bring food and sometimes they have a food truck. Nice, local art featured as well.

Sat at the bar for 30 minutes & the bartender served everyone around us that showed up AFTER us. We eventually got up & left. Wish there was an option to leave 0 stars.

I can’t rate Palate on “Food” because they do not have or serve food. It’s a bottle shop with a beer and wine bar. The staff is a fantastic small group of friendly bartenders who really know their wines and beers well and are great at suggestions. The wines are all natural and organic, which I personally love.
Kid-friendliness: It’s very family friendly. There are two patio spaces and an ice cream shop (Boombalattis) next door. Also a great spot for those with dogs as they’re super pet friendly.
