Sat at the bar for 30 minutes & the bartender served everyone around us that showed up AFTER us. We eventually got up & left. Wish there was an option to leave 0 stars.

I can’t rate Palate on “Food” because they do not have or serve food. It’s a bottle shop with a beer and wine bar. The staff is a fantastic small group of friendly bartenders who really know their wines and beers well and are great at suggestions. The wines are all natural and organic, which I personally love.

Kid-friendliness: It’s very family friendly. There are two patio spaces and an ice cream shop (Boombalattis) next door. Also a great spot for those with dogs as they’re super pet friendly.

Excellent location. Always easy to grab a parking space. Interesting/different rotating taps and right next door to a fantastic ice cream and burger joint so how could you go wrong?

Can’t rate the food because we didn’t have any. Simply checked it out for the beverage options that it had. We went in kind of an off time so got a lot more specialized attention than if we’d have gone during a busy time. It’s a cool atmosphere and has a lot of good beverage options. Worth a visit even if just To stock up on drinks

Weirdly sloppy on weekend nights. Feels like bartender brunette is running a private trashcan club. Super drunk and loud people, dogs off leashes barking and pissing on the turf.While trying to get a drink one particularly drunk dude ranted at me about birth replacement rates. Same bro intentionally scared my wife with his dog later. Told the bartender, she looks at bro with her friends and kicks me out.Used to be a regular, but thankful for the push to go explore Wilmington's many other better options.✌️

After not visiting for a long time because of a baby party with kids doing cartwheels over and over. Sad choice for a baby anything. Several reasons which I don't think I need to point out.I was hoping for a glass of the peach basil sangria, but it was just peach. It was the only thing I liked, but without basil it's not even tolerable. What happened to the strawberry basil sangria? We were just trying to enjoy a beverage but it was not enjoyable due to all the activity.I was at least hoping to enjoy it.I wish I had a better review.
