It is so sad how this place has gone downhill. I used to visit when it was the Hot Pink Cake Stand. It was the most beautiful bakery with the most lovely displays and amazing cupcakes in Wilmington. I’m not sure if it changed owners. I visit NC every year or so and ask ahead of time for them to make cupcakes. They can no longer even take orders a week in advance so I gave up. It’s now in a small shop in a parking lot. It’s very sad.

We ordered birthday cake for my 80th birthday plus cupcakes for which we were charged $770 including a $100 delivery fee. Unfortunately, cupcakes were not delivered. When we complained we were refunded $128.75 but no refund for the "lack of delivery " fee. While the cake was ok but certainly not worth more than $500. A $100 delivery fee is far in excess of what it should be. I would use caution if ordering any bakery from Pink Baking to ensure you understand what you're paying for. Not again for us.

Pink Baking Co. did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Even though we only ordered a small cake we were treated with the same care as if we needed to feed hundreds. We even had dietary restrictions. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was also delicious. Thank you Pink Baking Co. for being a part of our special day!

We have been coming to Wilmington from out of town since 1992 and have tried numerous bakeries, as we are typically here to celebrate someone. Every bakery we have tried has been a flop, whether it’s a dry cake, a cake with no flavor, etc. We found Pink and swore it would be our last attempt and were relieved to have a delicious, moist, adorable cake! We will be back for future celebrations!

Pink Baking Co is the BEST!!! Pink Baking Co made my wedding cake, and the final result was STUNNING. Ashley was a dream to work with--I didn't have a clear idea of exactly what I wanted, but I sent here a ton of different inspo pics from her Instagram explaining the different pieces of each style that I liked. Ashley came up with a design that was perfect for my husband and me--a gorgeous blend of a more traditional style plus a pop of color. And the cake itself was SO GOOD! We loved getting to pick from all of the different flavors that she offers, and one of the best parts of the post-wedding experience was eating the leftover cake :)We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Baking in our house! They also made absolutely stunning cookies for my bachelorette party and a gorgeous DNA-themed cake for my husband to celebrate his dissertation defense. Hands down the best bakery in Wilmington. Purchased a baby smash cake from here, I love how they informed me of potential hazards for the design I wanted! I appreciated being accommodated last minute :) will definitely used them again in the future.Side note: I tasted some of the cake and it was DELICIOUS.

We chose Pink Baking Co. for our couple's cake and cupcakes at our wedding in May 2023.My husband and I had a great time at the tasting and we selected champagne and chocolate cupcakes for the guests, which were a huge hit! For our small cake, we chose the Fox Noir flavor, which is absolutely delicious!We would highly recommend Pink Baking Co. for any cake/cupcake needs, they were spectacular!

I ordered a cake from here as a surprise for my husband on our wedding day. I have a dairy allergy and finding somewhere that will make a cake safe for me is nearly impossible. Ordering was smooth and easy.When i picked up, my cake was ready. They didn't think it was perfect enough so they fixed a tiny imperfection right on the spot before giving it to me. I ordered caramel latte and that buttercream is just incredible. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.The staff is lovely, the cake is phenomenal, service is prompt and kind, and the ordering is easy.
